UPDATE: The women's Twenty20 match between Australia and England at the MCG will commence at 3.15pm and has been reduced to 16 overs per team. The men's match will be played on schedule at 7.35pm.

Wonder whether the women's game is on GEM again.

If it stays like this, the pitch and outfield will be well and truly ready in time for the game. But we've had rain on and off for several days now, so I expect the ground will be soft and heavy. IMHO, they should bring the rope in, otherwise it will be a fairly low scoring affair.

Gee some just won't let this go, will they? It's like broken record.
He has a career strike rate of over 130 in international T20 cricket and is getting $1.4 mil in the IPL largely because of his ability to demolish attacks, yet he plays one poor and conservative innings (which would have almost certainly got going at a much, much faster rate had he stayed in there longer) and all these "hacks" on their computers start getting into him.
It's not the green monster is it? Jealousy, anyone?
