Twitch Setup

Hey Guys,

I'm new to this sort of stuff but was suggested from a few friends o/s and here I should setup a twitch acct so we can talk and carry on etc.. I was wondering if any can help me out or how do I set it up.


how do i put my face from the cam onto screen I'm sorry for all the questions I feel stupid.

Pretty sure OBS and XSplit cost money too

I dont know why you would use twitch to talk to friends overseas, skype would be a much better (and simpler) option

It's pretty odd that the OPs friends have suggested Twitch as a means of communication when Skype is around, lol.

If you are wanting to setup a Twitch account and game you're best running OBS (it's free), as XSplit is bloody horrible. It's worth giving this blokes guide (here) a read. There is a bunch of YouTube videos you can find around as well.

Hate I agree with you 100% they have suggested it to me however don't want to help me setu it up Grr.. thanks for the OBS I will look into that right now.
