It's all but signed sealed and delievered, our mighty mare from Melbourne is going to be taking Sydneys premiere middle distance crown and cast aside the doubts many have cast upon her.

I honestly can not wait for her to put pay to the most overhyped bunch of B grade gallopers in australia. If I hear the TVN crew talk up Rangirangdoo anymore I will vomit, I'll be interested to hear the excuses out of Sydney after TT has her way with them. The only danger would be Danleigh though it is probably a level away from TT.

She is a mighty mare this one lads and probably the best one we've seen since M-Diva, would love to see her take the Doncaster and then gear up for a crack at the Cox plate! On the verge of something special with her and it will be a pleasure to watch.

First thing that came to mind here, SUNLINE.

If TT can win the Doncaster, to me she will be up there with Sunline and Makybe as the best mares/fillies I have ever seen.

Sunline won it twice and ran second didn't she?

Hope she wins by 3-4 lengths, would be awesome to watch.

She's got 56.5 which is enough, Sunline had 57.5 as a 4yo & couldnt win it after already winning a Doncaster at 3.

She was run down by a 3yo though & there doesnt look much depth in the 3yo ranks with the best around going to the Derby.
Maybe Set For Fame who didnt seem to get the 2000 although badly ridden on Saturday,
her 1600m form is excellent but same stable of course?

Seriously, cant work out why her owner wont travel her,she smashed Dao Dao & he's very competitive in the
major Hong Kong races.

I hope she flogs them to secure her greatness.

Me too. Love the horse. As long as she isn't retired anytime soon (Manhattan Rain) or sent overseas for us to never see again (Denman), I'll be happy.

Really irritates me when a horse goes overseas and stays there. At least Apache would come back and say hi, as would Takeover once in a while....

The owner really wants her to have a "good crack" at the Cox Plate, it is the race all "real" owners and trainers in OZ want to win if they can, and taking her over seas now could ruin that.

My bet is if she wins the Cox Plate (huuuggggeee chance) then she will go to Hing Kong for the international race day, and then maybe elsewhere after that (Dubai, USA etc).

Doncaster first though, she has to run top 3 at least to show she is up to the pressure of a Cox Plate.

Arent you the guy who said in the Black Caviar thread that 1200m is clearly TT's best distance & that theres no point trying her past 1600m?

How much does a summer of maturity and growth help a horse? this Mare has gone from a solid Cox Plate effort but maybe looking a little out of her ground to maturing into a genuine superstar who looks as if she is now screaming out for 2040mtrs.

Make no mistake about it, TT will win the Doncaster, she has the ideal racing pattern to make a mockery of the field. The fact she always jumps well and finds her self on pace and has the sustained 400mtr sprint that only really peakes over the last 80-100mtrs makes her almost unbeatable. This is why she is now primed and the stereotype perfect Cox Plate horse!

What's on offer for her right now for the Doncaster? yesterday it was $4.80 but gee those odds will be trimmed pretty quickly. Getting on now will represent great value and having her into Faint Perfume seems pretty enticing, hard to see either being beaten.

the Australian Oaks is a match race b/w Faint Perfume and Valderamo

Try these multiples.

Typhoon Tracy into Faint Perfume - $10.20

Typhoon Tracy into Valderamo - $14.96

the only horse who can beat Typhoon Tracey is Danleigh.

Danleigh into Faint Perfume - $18

Danleigh into Valderamo - $26.40

Don't beat for two weeks, save all your money and just outlay on this combination.

Work your money around those multiples based on the return and you can buy yourself a new car and a huge boat on Sunday the 18th of April.

I have serious doubts whether Danleigh will get within 2 lengths of TT, the Doncaster is pretty much on a platter for her. Only doubts I have about Fain Perfume is her ability to continuely back up her performances, the fillies are often quite brittle and evidence can be backed up by TT's results towards the end of her 3 yr old season.

The TT/Precendance double looks as good as anything going atm.

Typhoon Tracy remained unbeaten at 3. I think it is her spring 4yo campaign you are referring to.:thumbsu:

Is there any need for you to be so technical all the time? People get on here and make totally valid statements and do a typo or something and you are on to them so quick its not funny. I think I said last week to stop being so touchy towards all the other posters. I'm not trying to take the highground here but as far as i'm concerned if you put as much effort into good conversation as you did correcting other people's mistakes other posters might actually listen to you. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this opinion either.

I wouldn't say she is 'screaming' out for 2040m. She was poor over 1800m last Spring. I'm not getting carried away about her Cox Plate chances, and she has a fair weight in the Doncaster on Saturday. I don't think she'll blow them away on Saturday, Danleigh and Rangi might get to within a length of her.

If TT wins this Saturday it will prove that she is the best horse in the land atm, but if she does go down she will be one of the best rather than the best. Personally i reckon she will still be too good for the Sydney siders in rangi and danleigh, whispers are around Theseo competing in the doncaster also.

I thought waterhouse said Theseo was going to the queen of the turf?

The Typhon Tracy (Doncaster) - Precedence (Sydney Cup) double is $14.28 on TAB at the moment. Worth a pineapple surely the way they are going.

was interstate so missed Precedence's run on sydney but noticed failed to run a place , could anyone shed some light ?

still thinking about taking the double with tracy @ 3 and precedence @ 9 now !
