They were all there on Saturday, great effort by the boys to knock over Strathmore, finals outcome might not be straight forward as some predict!!!

was at the game keilor vs strathmore and Keilor controlled the game did what they had to do get the early lead and everytime Strathmore looked like they were coming they went up another gear and kicked a few goals.
On the perfomance Strathmore showed it would be a big turn around if they did get to the grand final and win. We all know last year Keilor going in very confident and getting smashed.
For those who thought West Coburg were a good team it just shows there culture as a club when I believe they ended up with 14 players on the ground as they could lose gracefully. Nothing worse that when teams are going to lose they just try and go the knuckle doesnt make you a tough man just a weak man.

very surprising result to me with keilor beating mores. i had smore as the better side but klor show what there made of in the finals and step up? i didnt see this game any further thoughts on smore and the game in general??
i did watch the doutta wests game yesty and well a strange game at that. doutta have many players back and now are almost equal flag favourites. they are an exceptional unit. the first quarter was a terrific game of football tough physical nice and tight. a little firey scuffle from both sides at the end of the first added some finals touch to it. second q douttas set up the win. they were great. moved the ball well quickly across the wide open spaces at coburg. second half was very lacking. wests showed little resistance on a day not to be theres. very lazy across the board and just didnt work merely hard enough. now bye douttas you have to be very careful here making some allegations when in fact you were not present at the particular game.
wc were very pathetic in some of their acts it has to be said, however ds are as much to be blamed. with 2 players in focus acting a little unsportsmanlike and creating a smokey athmosphere. one ds player will most certainly being sitting out this week with racist comments been said to a wc player. now as much as wc were terrible in carrying on with a disgusting nature, this cannot be tolerated either and is just as weak if you ask me. does take 2 to tango in scuffles and that was the case. altho enough does become enough where some wc players didnt stop. yo really felt for the poor blokes stuck on the ground who had to play the 4th like a marby playing each week with many sent off.

fair call i wasnt there just heard from people that were there that West Coburg were to blame but if there was racial comments that is typical of douttas. Douttas are a good team but they do not win well either and when you attach on racial then i understand.
as for the keilor strathmore game Keilor just looked too good too strong and too professional. I know it wasnt a blow out and I thought Strathmore was the better team during the year but Keilor are a much different team in finals. A few players down for Strathmore watching Barnard he is one lazy player never play in front and if he ever wants to help them win will ahve to change his mind set. Number 7 for Strathmore and also number 16 played good games. If Knita plays they will be different but he played alright in the ones and they are playing again on weekend so big decision for him to make.
Will be interesting game this weekend but I still think Starthmore will win but time will tell....
did you watch the same game i did WC were throwing puches eveywhere in the last quarter with the Doutta kids focused on not getting reported , its not tough football just a dogs act when you are 10 goals down , very poor form indeed

wasnt the worst game douttas vs west coburg. fairly even first half though douttas got out by a little. second half was a blow out.. especially the last as seen by the scorecard. the brawls did play a part but i thought the west coburg backline were killed by the lack of pressure further up the ground. douttas simply too strong.. reminded me of abers last season by watching them switch the play and create space. will be interesting this week.. smore probs favourites but only just as douttas are clicking at the right time. special mention to little number 11 and number 6 for douttas, while the ruckman (17?) was also very good. (ones to watch strathmore!)

some very tidy stuff from both byedouttas and cass. i can definitely relate gents. however im not to sure where SEMPAI is coming from. you must be doutta affiliated to be that harsh on wests coburg. there are a few wc players up for tribunal and will i dare say be out for some time. but in saying that there are a few ds players in some strife. can you tell me one thing? if that was the case and ds were trying not to get reported then why was one player sent off and 3 reported? aswell as some racial villification from one player? We in the EDFL do not stand for this aswell as what happnd on sunday. but ill say it again just so your quite challenged self can understadn. it does take 2 to tango and it would have been quite reasonable for the ds to ignore and go on with the game as they knew they would be playing the following week and not get sucked in. this didnt happen and says a lot for their club culture also.

when a team is just ficused on fighting as I believe West Coburg may have but again I wasnt there you dont just cop the whacks and ask them why did they do that.... You have to stand your ground so next time they dont do anything. From what I have been told all the punches were thrown from West Coburg and Douttas were trying to just push and shove and there is nothing wrong with this....
If west coburg could lose bracefully this would not have happened and whatever you say is not going to change that. Takes 2 to tango but the morons from West Coburg started every one of them.
As for racial comments there is no room for it but without anybody not knowing what was said we cant comment on this.

Yes i am affiliated with doutta,s but not with the 18's but with the under 12's , very hard to get on with the game if you are lying on the turf after being knocked out ' but i was 3mtrs from the brawl on the fence and from where i sat looked very much like WC were the aggressors

interesting byedouttas, are you in any way challenging my integrity?? as my id name may suggest i did certainly play football but my days of playing are well over. so to say something as insignificant as that really underlines your immature approach to contributing on forums. i am not siding with any one team here lets be VERY clear. i was ther i understand and realize what took place so lets not waste each others valuable time on that matter. i just feel as tho as much as wc were sore losers that doutta are bad winners and clearly sempai the under 12 messiah should have realized that as he was at the game. unnecessarily blowing up the situation and urging those rowdy boys to punch on and etc. the wc cragieburns hadfields seem to cop the grunt of blame for brawls and such so what i am saying is those pretty boi clubs also need to havea good hard look at themselves b4 being quite fast in pointing the finger.
as for the buffon who said nobody was reported from doutta stars number 59 brendon grech will be notified shortly of a tribunal appearance as well as 1 or 2 more whom we are not discussing on here. so how about yu stay inyour own backyard yuo silly little boy and not make false misleading comments that have no backing whatsoever

Again I will say, nobody from Douttas was reported. Two players from doutta did attend the tribunal last night but only as witnesses.

InAnUnder you are obviously using this assumed name under false pretence, I would bet the only time you have got close to the ground is when crawl back under your rock!! Playing days over, based on your inaccurate observations of ther game I would say you only ever handed out oranges at half time!! If you are going to provide comment on this site at least provide creditable, unbiased and accurate commentary!!!
- No. 59 is Brandon Grech not Brendon - not reported or any incident to be investigated
- No Doutta player was reported - Buffon!! Check the EDFL Site
- No Doutta player was sent off - 2 players actually left the ground to seek treatment from being whacked
- A couple of WC players were the perpetrators of the niggle and ultimate melees and punches that insued
- WC 4 sent off 2 reported - check the EDFL Site
- No DS player vlified any WC player in fact the comment, which I clearly heard came from the crowd, totally unacceptable
- If you have such an accurate great recollection of events why have you not commented on the WC supporter who crossed the white line?
- Pretty easy to throw cheap shots from behind a PC!!

jets i must apologise i did not have time to get on since my last comment to rectify what i did say. no apperance letters were sent to doutta as it turned out, however they did appear at the tribunal. at least you are somewhere in the ball park and have some sort of awareness for that i must congradulate.

ON TO this weekend. doutta for mine. seem to have the mores covered. will certainly be down and windy and encourage other to do likewise to witness a great specticle.

firstly you need to settle down, worrying about an E instead of an A is quite unnecessary. As i said in my last post, NO apperance letters were sent out to ANY doutta players. If you had read that you might have thought twice about wasting 4 mins and thinking of yourself as some sort of magician. We sat down and determined what happnd as well as who the culprits were, so you need to just take a step back and realise this is not in your league to be making such comments. Wc players were suspended.
Also We recieved word from WC that they wanted a matter investigated re racism from a PLAYER on the ground in the LAST QUARTER not a crowd member. witness reports were provided and no more comment will be made of the issue. so again you need to clean up your on act before having a crack at someone who is in a much bettr position to speak than your good self champ. if i didnt no better i would say you are the one having cheap shots from you pc, making incorrect, silly and at times unverifiable calls. maybe you should step outside your rock?
One thing i can agree on is the fantastic game we have coming up on sunday at 9.30 at windy hill. my tip is with doutta just, interesting to get some of you guys thoughts?

as for bye douttas or what some at the office refer to as AJ, i am not MR EDFL and if i can recall you made the same attempt at a joke a few months back? i am on here to share the views of the edfl not speak like i am the only person who knos what there on about.
