There are nine sides running out in the u18's this year:

Collegians
Kew
Williamstown
UHS-VU
Richmond Central
St Mary's/Salesian
St Bernards
Werribee
Point Cook

Interestingly, half of the sides are from D3/D4...

Go Snakes!

Good luck to the Snakes U18's tomorrow v Williamstown. Our clubs first ever game in the unders.

It's good to see the Snakes have a team in this division. I saw you guys lost, bad luck, but all the best for the year.

How did all the other U/18's teams go?

Kew had a big win. I see Collegians had a win aswell. Interesting to see they have an 18s team considering Wesley competes in the APS Competition. Saw Kew v Richmond in a praccy a few weeks back, despite the huge winning margin by Kew I reckon Richmond will do well, have some good young kids. If clubs like St Marys S, Richmond, and Kew can hold onto these 18s players it will hold them in good sted for there future senior years

Collegians didn't win, they had a bye first up. Their first game is this weekend.

Kew had a huge win - they must be a well drilled team. I haven't seen or heard much about Point Cook or Williamstown, although Williamstown got over Richmond who as Richo mentioned has some handy young kids.

I see St.Bernards just got up over new team Point Cook. Bit of a surprise, should we assume Point Cook will be as strong as St.Bernards?

Was at the Point Cook/St Bernards game and there was less than a kick or 2 in it all game so either side could have won it. Will be interesting to see how they go this week to analayse where they are.

I haven't seen them yet, but I hear they are all from some Box Hill Football Academy.... Whatever that is. Many of them are still dreaming of AFL drafts

Saw Kew on the weekend and must admit they are a well drilled team. They run in numbers with very quick hands and their delivery is superb. I can't really see any team coming close to them.

Kew are deffinitely a solid team.. One kid must be sam mitchells younger brother, not i tac because of size, but god Jordy Henman is an absolute star will be very suprised if he isnt drafted in the next 4 years..

kews big men are ordinary... just fitter than the other teams. final 4 will be:
Kew
Werribee
Collegians, point cook, Richmond & Williamstown are fighting for 3rd and 4th possies

Kews big men are ordinary? Interesting call. Have watched them and have a couple of red head blokes who are about 6 foot and can definitely play. Seems to be a huge year down at Kew FC with all of there 4 senior teams doing very well

Looks like we have your mob this week down at PC, should be a good game.

Richmond central are a bunch of flogs, easiest 100 point win I've been apart of. Not one of their players would be able to make it in our side.

Uneducated and ill-informed comment. They are a well-drilled, skilful and disciplined team :thumbsu:

So that is not the case? Please enlighten us.
Football program at Box Hill SSC is made up of U16, 17 and 18's who are, mostly, at a level just below TAC Cup squads. Basically the program is for the players' development/combining school with football training, not because they're dreaming of AFL drafts.

They train hard, are well coached and all stick to team rules and structures. If you've watched them (not sure if you have) you'll see that.

Just thought I'd clear it up for everyone, Kew Giants are not a team of AFL hopefuls.

Surprise to see Willi beating Werribee as i thought Werribee where the 2nd best side in the comp. But looking at the Willi players, looks like a few U19's where playing.
