Well if thats the case they definitely deserve to be there and would be good to see them knock off Kew in the granny!! dont you love the team to be undefeated all year and getting knocked off in the big one.

Interesting to see only 3 Kew players named in the U18 Team of the Year. I'm all for giving kids from all clubs an opportunity, but surely a team that's undefeated on top would have at least 5-6 players. :confused:

not sure about the same bloke being named in the ruck & on the bench. Nick Wallace from uhs-vu very stiff to miss out as played 5 senior games in the ruck. Blakey & Craig prob shouldnt be considered with uni blues not have a side in the grade! its also fair to say atleast 4 kew kids could feel very stiff for missing out.

Yeah I don't think it's right that 2 Uni Blue kids make it when they don't even play in this section.
Z.Jones, R.Maiburm, T.Hayward, J.Dale (to name a few) were stiff from a Kew perspective
 
Werribee finish 2nd and only managed two players - stiff. Looking at that team it appears it has been based on "Feel Good" as opposed to reality.

FYI Olivia, D.Stoios played Centre Half Back all year and never played as rover! D.Curnow gets named twice, once on the bench and again in the ruck and UNI Blues don't even have an 18's.

Team of the year couldn't even name a coach - with those honours going to the Kew coach in my opinion.

If your going to do the Team of the Year Olivia, then put some effort in, do it right and give it the attention it deserves.
 
First week of 18s finals to be:

1) Kew v 2) Werribee
3) Williamstown v 4) Point Cook

St Bernards stiff however, copped their whack for playing too many under 19s = ineligible and = 8 points deducted!
 
Cody Day from point cook still any good?

Heard the name before way back and was a star back then
