Is this going to get posted every time United are awarded a penalty?

If it was a clear penalty (which it was) then what's the relevance of listing how many have been given in other games? Are the refs just supposed to not call the game as they see it because United have had luck in other games?

I can understand bringing this up if it was a dubious one (there have been a few tbf) but I just don't see what this adds to the discussion when today's incident was so clear cut.

The tweet is just documenting how many there have been. It's uncharted territory.

True but that's the reality of the game right now with VAR an absolute mess. I'd hope that we see all this over officiating decline in time as the VAR kinks get ironed out.

Wasn't having a dig at you btw Ross, I know you didn't post it to shit stir. I'm just sick of seeing the tally bandied around without context every time a new penalty is awarded.

Mendy didn't have a lot to do but that one save he made from the deflection he did really well, managed to scoop it well clear of danger.
What really impresses me is that he's vocal. He actually barks out instructions as opposed to Kepa who was as quiet as a mouse.

I know i get told we didnt try and strengthen our defence(lol) but Chilwell, Mendy and Silva do make a bit of difference. Hopefully they can all stay fit.
Silva for Christensen, and Mendy for Kepa makes a difference. Obviously it's still early days but I feel so much more comfortable with them at the back.

Real lose to Donetsk who had their second XI with 13 players out because of Covid. Zidane rested players. Couldn’t write a better script ..and idiots want an exclusive super league!!

Getting smashed at home to Donetsk.....sttttttruth.
A Donetsk side with 10 sitting out with covid. Were told by UEFA the tie couldn’t be postponed as they had 13 fit players.

and they still won.
Good on them I say

What on earth does it have to do with a European super-league?

UEFa won't be running it.....Some correlation & logic might be nice.

I really think you weren’t aware of the news and you’ve just looked it up that UEFA has knocked it on its head. Because your original reaction which has since been rightly (as has mine) been deleted. There was widespread anger at the news and today’s result shows up its flaws....how can it be totally irrelevant? Extraordinary..but understandable if you had no idea
