This show isn’t on any platform is it?

Nope, not in AU, which is crazy... Except that streaming service called "Other Means" / "Buccaneer Cove"

I haven’t seen GoT but know him from Love/Hate.
Daredevil was the other familiar face.

car dealer mum is a great character and really well acted.

Re : Kin. It took me until the first ep of season 2 to realise that Michael is played by Charlie Cox who was Daredevil. I can't unsee it now.

I just finished up a series called 'BETTER' on Binge/Foxtel. Only 5 eps, with Andrew Buchan of Broadchurch fame being the most well-known actor in it.

It wasn't awful and actually had some good moments, but it's hardly original (bent cop works with druglord).

The crazy thing about it was the final episode. Everything ramped up in episode 4 and then episode 5 was an hour's worth of what appeared to be character study. It felt very anti-climactic, although at least the template was far from followed in that regard.

Watched the first episode last night and it took me a while to work out what the premise was.

I'm not sure I will get past EP2 based on that.

Don't think it's been mentioned in here and it's pushing the boundaries of being a "cop" show since there's barely one in sight, but 'BAD SISTERS' is a strong dark comedy from Ireland. It's a bit bloated at 10 episodes and gets a little silly towards the end, but it's well made and an entertaining watch:

Kin is grand!
Strap yourself in!
Geezus Season 2 of Kin... Up to Ep 6... Fantastic

Just finished up Season 2 of 'Kin'. Awesome show. Such a fantastic ensemble. The acting in this show is like a good footy team: A Champion team will beat a team of champions.

And like all the fantastic series from the past, there's always little storylines lurking in the background which you know can be built upon in the next season or 3.

Some of these are not set in UK, but they have some Brit production.

The Gold is pretty good. Not action packed, just a story well told.

North Shore is UK/Aus, also not bad, if a little light. Has the fat guy from GoT in it.

The Gone, Irish/NZ production.

Also just finished The Tourist with the baddie from The Fall. Weird, but interesting. Lots of twists.

STEELTOWN MURDERS begins this Wednesday June-7 on Binge/Foxtel

This was good: slow burn and gritty.

Some beautifully shot scenes and the score is really good too.

The story is fairly straightforward and instead of cramming this with plot they let it breathe and focus on character.

Great sense of place and time too. Wales in the seventies: depressing.
