I thought they slaughtered you guys today! 29 - 12 was a disgrace. On the positive side, Graham Polak played his best game for the Tigers, and Cleve Hughes is a young gun who stepped up today. I felt for Richmond today, they should have had a better run today but couldn't get a stiff because of the men in drag!

They were terrible today, but we were still the second best side out there.

There's obviously a bit of a ManU/Chelsea type thing happening in the AFL now where the umps get a bit intimidated by such a good side and don't pay the same frees against them as they do their opposition. A few times Judd and Kerr dropped the ball pretty blatently but got away with it. Very frustrating.

i watched the game a few of the calls were poor to say the least but i still think west coast played better for the whole four quarters we played well in 3 quarters the 2nd quarter we were really out played. i like what the young kids did today but we still waste to many chances an give the ball up to easy.

we played a classer side an we beaten but there still were alot of good signs for the future i really like jacksons game he didn't get alot of touches but held his player well. king is another player i really like alot of good tackles

yeah they stank but we gave away alot of stupid frees in the second term, i was pissed that those same soft frees we gave werent given the other way though our skills also stank today and its what cost us the match.

Schulz would nail his goals usually missed them all.....skills cost us today

Wenn umpired us against Sydney and I think we had a rough game then.

Two of the 3 umpires, at one stage had paid something like 13 - 2 free kicks to West Coast.

Absolute ****ing disgrace.

Worst umpiring I've seen for a while.

Richmond were amazingly good. Hats off to our boys, they were fantastic.

Umpires ****ing sucked.

Yep no doubt we got the better end of the whistle that said today you were beaten by a better side. Chins up though I think success for your club isn't that far away......

In light of the umpiring,there were plenty of positive signs for the Tigers.

I loved the passion of the fans in the last quarter.

Wish we showed that at the start of the game to give our lads a boost.

I actually liked Kane Johnson's comments about the 3 blind mice at the coaches press conference.

Described their performance as the only consistency in the unpiring was decisions consistently went to west coast.

Admire the fact he had the guts to say it but I am sure he will be paying for it with a fine to AFL coffers.

Hope TW demands a meeting with Gieschen regards their performance.

yeah i heard that, he was really upfront and honest about his feelings which is good. apparently he asked the umpires what was going on and they gave him no answer. they are obviously deeply entrenched in the drug dealing business as well.

Good game by the Tigers. I think you'd find that even if the umpiring decisions went 50/50 that West Coast still had the class in the tank to lift another notch.

Top sides always seem to get more frees.

i have no doubt west coast would have won anyway, but it doesnt stop the anger at so many blatantly bad desisions EVERY FREAKING GAME!!! they hate us. geishen has it in for us.

Hate using umps as an excuse for a loss, but some of their decisions were pretty soft and mystifying
Eagles won because they're a class above everyone else, and we still make basic errors that good sides capitalise on.
Not blaming Jon, but that kick was ordinary and the Eagles just rebounded and goaled. After the great effort to be in a position to get in front and have that happen, just destroys all the confidence and good work. Schultz is normally pretty reliable, but hopeless today.

Shit happens, but we're going all right, I reckon.

Look, I think the Tiges gave away frees in trying to tag certain players out of the game, but when the ball is consistently dropped deliberately after a tackle and is not penalised????? I certainly saw 5 or 6 that should have been paid.

Overall, Eagles were the better side though and deserved the win. The problem in playing them is you can hold their best, but the second string players (Embley, Stenglein, Rosa) are then free and can still cut you up.

All in all a great effort by the boys, especially our kids. Loved Tambling in the first - hopefully the first of many 4 goal hauls!
