At the MCG, Australia suffered two awful dismissals of Ed Cowen and Mike Hussey. The umpires are not going to well today.

Please post and leave your thoughts!

Big deal. Cop it nice. That is cricket. Australia agreed to the terms and conditions before the start of the tour so don't sook.

James Sutherland will be happy because the ratings will go through the roof in India. Australia's biggest market.

The bigger issue is another Australian batting collapse.

But didn't Clarke say we are ready?!?!

Australia didn't agree, India for some idiotic reason don't use technology like the DRS for reasons only God knows why? Both nations have to agree and India disagreed to using the system.

Can't be ready for blunders like those.

What collapse? They were not out!?

Cop it nice my ****ing arse. A career Likely ended and a century on debut because the Indians don't like the DRS?

Should have told them not to bother coming, would rather watch four more tests against NZ.

Australia could have made a big issue of it after Monkeygate. This all goes back to Monkeygate and Cricket Australia sweeping it under the table. There and then Cricket Australia should have made an issue and fought India but no. The turned over and let India have their own way.

Good and bad decisions happen every day in cricket.

If Clarke doesn't get bowled because he can't play reverse swing then there is no issue.

You should have said something 4 years ago when the issue came to a head.

Too late now.

Geez, some of you guys are soft... we get a decision against us and its the end of the world. What about all the decisions that went our way when we were the best at intimidating umpires with Warney, Punter, Hayden etc.

the ICC, supposedly the world governing body for cricket, needs to govern. simple as that. quit pandering to superstitious technophobes and simply implement uniform rules worldwide. drs is either in for all series or out for all series. the current situation is an unacceptable farce which is bringing cricket into disrepute and encouraging allegations of cheating and corruption in an already scandal ridden sport. someone needs to show some stones

'A' decision is ok. Two in a row is a killer, especially when they were pretty dodgy anyway. The technology is available to end these poor decisions that ruin test matches. Why aren't we using it?!?!

yeah and what if bourke and wills had a helicopter? there is no need for this bullshit in this day and age

So the first 100 odd years of test cricket were ruinrd were they?

Alam Da had his decison review 30 odd times before he was shown to get one sloiughly woring (slipping down leg)

I can see many people in India, including the media, accusing the Australian media of fudging the hotspot and snicko to suggest they were not out to give false evidence that the DRS should be used.

I'd suggest the evidence to show this is not true is that both batsman looked convinced they were not out and the decision was poor.

When will Cricket Australia stand up to the Indian Cricket Board who love to use race as an excuse when things go wrong?

I just wonder how will billions of Indians react when Sachin is wrongfully dismissed LBW or caught behind when the DRS cannot be used...

There will be a huge riot and the ICC will submit to the demands of the Indians. They hold the power.

The ICC is in a bad state when they have to submit to the demands of the Indians.

You act like sachin has never got a bad decision in his life. if we go by the way you put it, the world should be destroyed by now due to the number of bad decisions he's got.

Anyways, to all to whiners grow some balls u bunch of pansies.

Shit happens, move on!!!

You really think Cricket australia's choice was to play without reviews? when it has overturned quite a bit this summer, and would do so again?

Batting collapse? they didnt even hit the ****ing ball. How can you not have a collapse when it doesnt matter if your out or not?!

4 Years ago Cricket Australia made their choice (Monkeygate)

Please try and keep up with what is happening. Cheers.:thumbsu:

Clarke was bowled I believe. If he doesn't go out then there is no issues.

It happens, plenty have gone our way over the years one way or another. And DRS, you either have all the same technology in all games in every test series, or don't have it at all.
