you fellas are saying that these guys have made the nfl TEAM theyve made training thats it.
 
Standing on the side lines on sunday watching the North H'berg and Hurstbridge game I was digusted to see no 6 from North H'berg head butt no 6 from Hurstbridge as it was off the play very vew pepole saw the head butt , but every one did witness the punches no 6 from Hurstbridge threw at no 6 from North H'berg and what erupted from that was more appalling as the North H'berg players rushed in to help there teammate were belt hurstbridge players from behind and throwing the boots in while they were on the ground trying to defend themselfs .Also the drinking of alcohol by the North H'berg supportes at a juniors game is not acceptable as it fuelled the North H'berg supporters to jump the fence at there coaches box and antagonise the supporters and players of Hurstbridge. I hope that this sort of thing doesn't happen again . Get back to the game and play football as we all go along to see kids enjoy there football.

fwd pocketer ive seen some of your posts and by all accounts you are a bit of a guru. Would you have any idea who are representing these teams and your opinion on whether or not they are any good?
 
boys, with the eagles knocking off research and also eltham is it safe to say that they arent as bad as everyone mightve first thought? they are a pretty tight knit group that love to play with each other. no superstars but everyone works for each other. what do u think?

Yarrambat players consist of Johnson, Lord, Abba, Currie, Mcewen, Campbell + about 2 others. Much of which play in the Div 1 team. Lords been injured but he's a gun. Dunno about Currie and Mcewen seem like charity picks to me.

greensy have callaway, cisek, lindstrom, emery, beames, parks and carrucan. From memory i think all of those guys barring carrucan made the 15s side last year. All seem like pretty good players, Beames will definately make the rep team as a ruckman.

All of West Prestons players are playing in that shizenhausen SILVER division which is worse than under 12's so they don't quite have the exposure compared to the other players. Ricky Mercuri, although being an absolute dickboss is a half-decent player. The rest are a bit iffy, sure they can dominate when in comes to Div 4 but I don't know about the rep team.

South morang have 2 players picked, possibly the club felt sorry for these guys and picked them just to raise their confidence.

Can anyone tell me what actually happends at these devolpment squads because ive come from the yarra league and dont know really knowwhat happends seeing as theres not metro champs for 16s:confused:
 
Do you think that research would come any closer to greensy if they had access to their bottom age players (paterson, naismith, boyden, coen etc.)
 
North Heidelberg are the biggest scum in the whole league, anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves

they serve up the same crap year after year yet nothing is ever done about it. If they want to fight then take up boxing. I know it may be hard for them to comprehend but the majority of players enjoy playing football without having to worry about being whacked from behind

mont played shockin yesty, if they had kicked some of those early goals it may have been a differnt story.
mont had a few out as well, same as boro
boro play there home ground better then any other team in the comp plays their home ground, mayb on a mutal ground it may b differnt

the umpires were a joke as well callin people by their first name is a joke in football.. they should keep their mouth shut unless they r makin a decision, for a div 1 top of the ladder clash they should of had the best not two yellow muppets runnin around missin some very simple decisions n payin some even worse ones
if they get rattled by a few words by the coaches n have to pay free kicks its a joke especially when their umpirin was so bad in the first place

I think that's a reasonably true statement.
Naismith and Patto are in the top ten players for the under 16's, while Ryan Boyden is a psycho, but uses it to his advantage.

mate no need for the language, you are a disgraceful side that should never see the light of div 1, let alone have any rep players. You should consider yourself fortunate they were even picked in the squad because from the whispers ive heard the players that were picked in the squad aren't exactly superstars.

And also regarding the umpires, wasn't it Luke Course umpiring, he's a good mate and I happen to think he's a reasonable umpire from what I've seen.
However if umpires are going to call players by their first names and "befriend" them, then they should at least do the same for the other team.

Well it's simply used to highlight the players in U/16 and play some games, nothing more.

fair enough but i dont understand why ive been picked for the 16s when im meant to be playn 15s even though i play 17s and i havent had that great of a year so far either :confused: but i dont care if i was picked i was picked and ill try make this squad

Mate cool your jets I know for a fact that one of the umpires from that match was a VFL umpire, hardly the worst umpire they could have picked. I think you are just looking for excuses to explain an unexpected result considering half of boro's team was out. So if I played for Monty i would concentrate on maintaining 2nd spot because no side will come close to greensy.
