well,im not to sure if every uni resumed today, but to those who did. howd it go? if anyone was attending uni for the first time, did you get lost? and which uni you going to?
mine was so easy, just the one lecture late in the afternoon, the talent just keeps getting better and better too;) :p at latrobe in bendigo
just got to finish signing up for a few of my tutes, but all in all its looking good, only the 1 early class in the morning with the majority in the afternoon:D

hehe..

thats what i used to love about the first day..

all those fresh first year gals, lining up/packing into lecture theatres...

ah ~

Started second year phys ed at RMIT Bundoora today. Pissed off as I have 2 8.30 starts and 25 hours of class for the week, about 10 hours more most of my mates

But there was some good form, particularly on the tram, unfortunately not in my tute group

Started today at Deakin Waurn Ponds, only had one lecture and then a safety session in the lab which they actually gave us a test on, lol. Didn't get lost, it's not all that confusing there.

Had my first day at Victoria Uni in Footscray. Overall, i loved it. A hell of a lot better than High School! I have 12hrs a week, which sounds like not much until you see my class hours!! For example, today I had a 2 classes from 9-11am, and then another class 3hrs later!!! I was bored *****less! There's nothing to do there, and home is about an hrs trip away so its pointless leaving the campus.

I didn't get lost, i memorized the place on orientation day. Chicks are mostly nice ones, but all my tutes have fat chicks(not that there's anything wrong with them ;)), and my lectures have 200-or so students, so socialising is rather awkward.

Uni wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to spend upto $8 on transport a day. Though I've discovered that if I take the bus I can get away on just $3 :D (travelling takes bout 75mins).

Yeah, well I went to Lyndale Secondary College today in Dandenong, and I had 7 classes from 8.30am to 3.50pm. Saw the same people that I have for the last 5 years, and...oh what? Uni? Maybe next year... :(

The Hitman

How easy have u got it in Vic. Im into my third week of Uni all ready. I went out on the grog last night and missed all my morning lectures through being totally hung over and feeling sick as a dog. Yeh Uni rocks :)

Ah well, today two weeks ago I started my fifth year of Uni, and my second year of my graduate law degree (I already have a Commerce degree...). It's amazing, four years of Uni gone and I still have bloody awful study techniques :D

(but at least now I can fully explain to you, in MAJOR detail, how every element of the Australian Constitution is a complete and utter crock of shlt :))

U will all learn very quickly to change ur timetable so the earliest start is at 11. I refuse to battle through peak hour traffic just to talk through lectures and tutes (not that I attend lectures, but that's a different story). I started second year of my Arts/Business(Banking and Finance) course today and had a couple of lectures which I didn't bother going to and two tutes for Arts. One tute had two others in it and the other had four others, so there wasn't much (any) talent I could see. It's usually pretty decent though, and uni is so much fun, particularly compared to school...

Uni was good today - I'm back for my final year of Economics & finance at RMIT in the city.

Only had one lecture, was an hour shorter than usual - found out didn't need a textbook and there is no exam!!! :D

However, my marketing elective has been moved so I have to go to the part-time class on Wednesday night, quite disappointing when the main reason I did it was to check out the first year marketing girls! ;)

First day at a new uni today. Vic uni in St Albans. I've been to uni before though, so it's not new.

I had English and beginners spanish today. Spanish was scary, it's very intensive.

Oh and my starts are at 9 o'clock, but that's okay because I've rigged my timetable so I only have 2 and a half days.

All in all I think it went okay. I don't like VU as much as LaTrobe, I loved LaTrobe, but it's my own fault for stuffing it up, so no point in comparisons. It's easier for me to get to as well, which is a BIG bonus.

First day of first year of my comerce degree at Deakin Burwood today. Tutes don't start til next week, so i have a few gaps this week. And yes, uni defintely has quality, although you gotta worry when all the hot chicks are studying information systems of all things.

Haven't introduced myself to the nursing faculty yet, that should be fun.

Melb Uni doesn't have tutes this week, which rocks, I've only got 6 hours of classes (full time).

And how's this for late starts. I have planned it so my earliest start is 2:15. Only Problem: I have to work 8:00 - 1:00pm monday to thursday. Oh well, gotta pay for my car somehow.

History has tutes :( But that's not such a bad thing :D

Aggels, I'm doing beginners German. Lucky I have to change anyway because of clashes, because I wouldn't last 2 weeks in it the way today went :(

Are you me in disguise?

Yeah i started today 4th year commerce/economics at monash. Had 1 class today starting at 4 o'clock. Suffice to say i didn't go, Old Neighbours and Home and Away was too appealing (i've just realised how sad my life now!).

To those 1st years saying that there is lots of eye candy around. Lap it up while you can. They stop wearing tight tops and short skirts after about 3 weeks. Although thats at monash which is about 16 degrees colder than any other place in the world.

Started at Monash yesterday. Had a lecture at 9am then was supposed to have another at 3pm but they stuffed up my timetable. After putting in my preferences for my tutes they didn't allocate me a tute for the lecture I was supposed to have yesterday afternoon.

However, I didnt even realise this till about 2.30pm (I had been waitin around for 3 1/2 hrs for my next lecture)...GRRR!!! I went up to the Bus & Eco Admin and they told me I will have to transfer subjects etc..How frustrating is that?!?!?!?!

Oh and by the way, I'm in First Year studying Business and Commerce (Majoring in International Business and a second Major in Management).

But its been pretty good so far.

That is so true brotha!! Being a Monash Science grad, i know all about all the eye candy disappearing after a few weeks. It is imperative that you lap it up whilst it last, cos you won't see any of it until exam time in october/november (if you're lucky).

And you're right ... Monash Uni isn't cituated in the most 'desireable' place in Melbourne (weatherwise). Remembering Waverley Park is a mere 5-10 mins drive up Wellington Road. :)

I miss uni ... i really do!

Not in Queensland they don't.
