I'm sure we're looking at taking them as rookie listed players.

You would think if we were going to select any of them in the national draft or the pre-season draft we wouldn't have them on display for the other 15 clubs.

Mick Barlow is a 20-year-old from Shep United. He was widely tipped to win the league's best and fairest this year but finished fifth. Gun onballer, who is in the pavlich mould. Could be worth a punt

From what i heard he is a big slow lanky midfielder who does get about 40 touches a game, doesnt exactly get noticed by most on the boundry as a top player but manages to get ALOT of the ball.

mick barlow, very good player, tall, hard at it, sensational hands. smart footballer. won assumptions best n fairest in 2005 in a premiership side, captained the cricket premiership also.
would be worth a punt, has grown alot since school finished and bulked up also
 
Ironically, Pfeiffer was drafted with our draft pick (traded to Adelaide for Fergus Watts 2 years ago).

It seems odd that neither are currently on a club list.:eek:

I think there may be better available - I admit that I don't know why he was dropped from Adelaide's list, but I hate to think that we would waste a pick on someone else's rejects.

I'd prefer we look at Garubba or Matthews from the Scorps
 
very solid sanfl player and should have cracked into afl ranks last year, a lot of adelaide fans not happy he got delisted. delisting was a punishment for poor attitude
