The problem is we wiped most off our debt pretty easily that kroenke might think we can do it again.

Exactly, 400 million in 6 years is bloody impressive but it has come at a cost. We clearly need money to buy a better team doctor and with a heap of debt i don't know ow we would afford it.

haha oh wow sums up Arsenal perfectly

Season done for The Gunners not sure what is wrong with the team they just don't seem to have that killer edge they should have scored in the 1st half but that was just Arsenal being Arsenal the crowd seemed really frustrated for the majority of the match kinda sick of us not shooting and trying to walk it in I guess.

Haven't seen Fabregas play that badly in a fair while god damn we are so frustrating **** me.

Diaby played well I thought 2nd game in a row for him

Eboue while clumsy also unlucky and I don't blame him I blame the team for ****ing it up as a whole.

I'm not sure I can quantify my anger in words at the moment.
All I can say is that I died a little inside tonight.
Another season wasted.

Oh, Eboue

Well, there's the title to Man Utd, our squad doesn't have the bottle or the leadership to score 7 more points than Man Utd from here.

Dramatic end to the match.
I'm sure Wegner will focus on the Eboue foul/no foul.
We didn't play well enough for long enough imo, same old tripe served up again.
*Trying to dribble the ball into the box and then past the keeper but kept missing targets.
*Little to none forward pressing (the Pool had 2 teenager defenders ffs).
*Diaby ordinary again.
*Fabregas poor, looks uninterested and has for some time now.
This was a must win match, a layman wouldn't have known watching our lacklustre performance. I expected (hoped) to see an Arsenal side prepared to go to war at the Emirates but I saw no frontline hero tonight!

lol @ diaby ordinary.

Easily one of our best.

WTF has happened to nasri?

Only positive news (still insignificant but anyway)

ryo had 2 goals and 2 assists

what a disgrace. I just cant be ****ed caring anymore. There is some serious problems at Arsenal. If Newcastle beat Man U on Tuesday we are still alive - but i think id just prefer they win and we be put out of our misery.

Overhaul needed at seasons end, from the top down!
Enoughs enough, I don't care if we might finish second.
5 years is way too long for this proud club to go without any silverware.
I'm sick and tired of the usual excuses, Arsene make some serious changes or walk.......the fish rots from the head first:mad:

If Wenger got the sack, who would we get though?
What changes do we need to make, who can we sign in to improve the team?

From what I see, I'm not too worried about a keeper now. Szszszsz is a good keeper. I'd like another CB still, and maybe a strong minded CM who will have a ping from far out (and is good at it) instead of trying to create perfect goals. RvP is a good striker but another clinical forward wouldn't be bad.

Who these players are? Haven't really thought about it, its not like we would spend over 2 million anyway.

Walcott really needs to improve his crossing, he just seems to cross it in without looking. Whats the go with Hazard anyway, don't know too much about him or his situation.

Need to get some selfishness in the squad as the passing game only works against the poor clubs against good clubs it doesnt work(not saying liverpool is a good club more we were of our game).

Also need a big turnover.

Samba and subotic would be nice and hazard too.:)

I've been a long time admirer of the Frenchman and respect the man for what he has done for the Gunners.
If the club want admirable finishes in all comps then he rightfully stays.
If the club want to win a trophy of any description then he must be held accountable. He signs/trades the players.
Scan the bloody globe. Act like a BIG club and be ruthless in luring the best of the best if need be.
We are set in our ways big time, we need to wake the $..% up quickly!

our last win before blackburn last weekend was against orient in the fa cup in feb. seriously, we've had 1 win in all competitions since february. anyone who thinks we're still a chance for the title really needs a reality check. there's little chance of us winning 6 games straight, when we've bottled it time and again when it matters these last few months. fabregas has been down of late, and really dissapointing to see the late season fadeouts of guys like nasri, chamakh etc after such a good start to the season

and more excuses from wenger i see. i really admire wenger and all he's done for the club, but the same old excuses are getting tiresome. i enjoy reading the winners and losers section of football365.com, and this was pretty damning about arsenal:

Arsenal And People Who Don't Understand Why Intelligence Is Valuable In Football

The only thing that is intelligent about Arsenal is their nickname. Just how stupid are The Braindeads? Too stupid to learn from their mistakes, that is for sure. Arsene Wenger did an Emmanuel Eboue and gave the game away when he suggested, with bitterness rather than appreciation, that Lucas Leiva's "intelligence" had won Liverpool's penalty. That wasn't the issue, Arsene. The problem was that whereas Lucas had some, Eboue had none.

It is quite the unmirrored irony that Wenger is one of the cleverest managers in football because his team are, in blunt terms, unprecedentedly thick. There is scarcely a couple of football brains between them, and even fewer active cells when pressure is exerted, which is why they keep falling for such obvious tricks, why they lack the intelligence to learn and why they keep making the same damaging mistakes time after time.

Here we go again. For their inability to defend in proper numbers to what should have been the final attack of the game, see Tottenham's injury-time equaliser at the Emirates two years ago when one goal-kick found the home side, winning 4-3, outnumbered six to four. For Eboue's idiocy, committed against a back-to-goal opponent bereft of any danger, rewind to Alex Hleb's infamy against PSV (From Winners & Losers that April: 'It was Hleb who idiotically pushed over a boxed-in Sun Xiang on the touchline for the free-kick from which Alex produced PSV's one and only shot on goal. If you witness a stupider piece of football in your lifetime then it will be because the inmates of the local lunatic asylum have been released for the day unsupervised'). And for the capacity to throw away a valuable victory in time added on to injury time, step back just a few months to their draw at Sunderland in September.

It's what Arsenal do. What they never do is learn"

Don't lose faith fellas. I have a feeling that both Newcastle & Everton have a surprise in store for the scum. Then it is up to you guys to beat them at Emirates which I reckon you will. Believe me, I would have preferred if we lost to you guys rather then taking 2 points off you in a title race with that utter filthy scum of a club.

Title race is still alive, but we don't look like winning a game currently.:(

mate i want to believe this too...but as i've said before, the title has been 'alive' for the past month or so. and we've won only one game...and struggled to score in a lot of them.

to go from that to winning our last 6 games straight would be extraordinary. i have faith (still!), but we're praying for a minor miracle now. it all starts hopefully with newcastle knocking off man united (however this will be irrelevant if we dont get the 3 points at white hart lane)

Got a inkling that Nasri is on his way. Wont sign a new contract and his workrate has dropped off big time in recent weeks. Inter would be my guess as to his destination.

is it just me or has cesc looked disinterested of late? yes he's had (a lot of) hamstring injuries (again) this season and is struggling to get back to his best form. but he fades in and out of games and doesnt appear to have the same drive of late. he's not the only one mind you, not trying to single him out...but his form recently has really been felt (same with nasri etc)

Even i think Diaby was one of our better players and I hate him more than anyone. Everyone gave the ball away too much yesterday. We should be disappointed in Cesc the most, as it is his best attribute and even he couldn't pick a pass.

I don't think Cesc has fully recovered from all his hamstring woes, looks sluggish on the ball and lacks that killer pass under pressure he used to always make. If he goes to Barca, I wouldn't be too sad especially if we get an absolute bucketload for him and Wenger actually pulls his digit out and buys some ready-made guns.

Another utterly frustrating game to be an Arsenal supporter, one clear cut chance in open play against a make-shift Pool defence flanked by teens is pretty pathetic. Finally get a penalty and all we have to do is defend for two effin minutes and we literally freeze. Sagna doesn't clear Kuyt's cross properly, Koscielny fluffs it, Song makes a half-hearted tackle then sticks his foot out to concede the free kick. To top it all off, Eboue decides to capper Lucas who is always going to fall like ten-pins with 2 nanoseconds left.

FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have got no one to blame but ourselves. God I wish Lehmann was playing (nothing against Sczczc), he would have been screaming grenade-laced vitriol at his defenders long before they collectively cocked up to concede.

Rant over (for time being).
