Got this from another forum re: that banner

This banner has caused a bit of a stir on the net. Would cause an uproar more serious apparently if it is put on display at the Emirates as is planned. Been threats to tear the banner down within seconds and those associated with it. So where is the freedom of speech at Arsenal? Is Arsenal a dictatorship where no differing opinions are allowed? It's definitely going up at away games apparently.

I kind of agree with it. Yes, the club should support Wenger, but the way he has driven this club almost into the ground in recent years has taken its toll. The fans can only take so much.

The stadium is privately owned they can do what they like regarding banners put up. Tearing down negative banners would happen at any stadium in the world.

Why are people so harsh on him?

It is not like he told Wenger to go out and buy him and throw him straight into the first xi. Of course he is going to look out of his depth, he is 19 and has come from a League 1 team. You shouldn't expect him to be winning games with his defensive skill. The kid has been thrown into the lions den.
