For all the flack Emery has copped for team selection over the past couple of weeks, got it absolutely spot on today with 4-4-2 diamond.

Bellerin going down could be huge but will take 3 points against Chelsea all day.

Lacazette's touch and finish was spot on.

That Bellerin injury looked nasty. Damn. He is a big loss if out for a while, had an excellent game.

The skill from Lacazette was fantastic. All class.

Enjoyed the moment between Giroud and Koscielny post match. It’s still a bit jarring seeing Giroud in that blue shirt!

Had a feeling we'd win, bellerin injury looked bad, still think we gotta concentrate on the europa league, think utd get 4th and unless spurs bottle it i think we miss

I was also confident. Chelsea have zero fire power besides Hazard and their defence isn't good enough to stop our strikers at home.

Not sounding like a good outlook for Bellerin based of Emery’s press conference.

The less reliance upon Lichsteiner the better. Would much prefer AMN over him and even Jenkinson, really need AMN to remain fit for the rest of the season.

On the other hand, we've had success previously playing two strikers with Ramsey or Ozil behind them but have never persisted with that system for more than a half.

Yeah agree, but if you are going to point out his really questionable team decisions which he has had quite a few recently, you also have to point out when he gets it right, hopefully he sticks with this formation going forward. Even with the Bellerin injury.

Man Bellerin injury a massive loss. He’s had a good season in my opinion and was causing loads of trouble last night. Especially with Lichtsteiner not living up to his reputation, it’s a big loss.

Awesome to see Kos boss it and score too. Gives both the team and himself confidence in his fitness and that he’s perhaps got something to offer still.

Bellerin was in trouble as soon as he went down... was never going to end well. The defence has had a few injuries this season but the extra experience into a few young ones could help next season onwards...

If true it’s neither better nor worse than an ACL. Both shockers.

Either diagnosis sounds quite severe, not sure there’s a good news or bad news option there. However he hasn’t had the scan as yet, it’s due tomorrow (as per Emery’s comments) so unsure how accurate this tweet is.

Sven brought in Mavropanos, Torreira & Guendouzi over an 8 month period. All have great potential.

What could have been. I'd love to know where it all went on within the club's hierarchy. Ornstein saying we've lined up an esteemed replacement.

Yes I like to think of it similarly to you, it was a short tenure but he delivered in bringing in some genuine talent.

Was also pivotal with PEA. Not bad for a 12-13 month period overall.

Will need to read Ornstein’s latest.

Reports are we're after Monchi as football director type role, this would be a good get IMO, has a great record for unearthing talent during his time at Sevilla. He's currently at Roma at the moment though, so not sure how much truth to it.
