With the inclusion of a quality DM and decent run of injuries, we really should be pushing for the top 2.
But our form against the top teams must improve. Cannot keep giving them 4-6 points a season and then rely upon beating up on the lower teams.
A more spread out schedule should also help this season, and not having to play the likes of Chelsea, City etc in consecutive games like March where it all fell away for us.

Caught the entire doco. Compelling viewing, particularly his comments regarding Wenger losing confidence in him.

Chelsea and City would be outright favorites.
For Arsenal's season to be a success i'd say 2-3rd plus semis of the Champions league and the FA cup.
Ospina as good as done, seems a formality to announce the signing. Perhaps when the club is back from New York. Wenger said in his press conference:

What the hell is this news about us being in for Calum Chambers from Southampton? They quite possibly might not have a team if they sell so many players.
Yeah, does anybody know much about Chambers? I remember he had a good game against us last season and I hope we aren't shelling out big bucks in the back of that performance.

Chambers are a very bright future is only 19 & already better than Jenkinson IMO, will also be able to vill a void at CB aswell i think. Happy to have him as back up to Debuchy & 4th choice CB for the 14/15 season... With him and Ospina I think we are fine at the back for this season
Chambers' price would likely put us off. Not sure how many more first team players they will sell anyway. There's still Schneirderlin up for grabs as well.
Ornstein, who's always pretty much bang on, says Chambers is close. I like it. With Wenger all but confirming Ospina we're tracking nicely and it's only the end of July!

To put it in context, prior to Ozil, our record signing was about £16m for Reyes and then Arshavin.

And just as importantly, not selling star players and replacing them with "potential". In terms of strengthening the team/squad this is an unprecedented window so far. Add that DM and we should be gunning

At 22 Jenko needs to play. I do feel that this might signal the end for him at Arsenal though.
Maybe Wenger sees Chambers as a long term CB though so i know nothing jon snow.

Yeah no way we're getting a DM now. With talk of Wilshere playing that role, with Arteta and Flamini capable of that position.
I hear Chambers is quite versatile and can play DM as well.
Would have preferred Schneiderlin but oh well, good to see we're spending decent money on players with potential. In all honesty I don't remember Chambers all that well.
