Any chance brisbane have been stalling on deals until the board issues have been sorted? Now that they have Leigh "the messiah" Matthews is making a pitch to each of the disgruntled youngsters to keep them on board..

Its not necessarily mindless, but it is certainly dribble..

I was thinking the same think about Matthews as well. I think he would certainly have an influence on anyone who hadnt made up thier mind to leave. Hopefully that doesnt leave us with downgraded picks in this draft and no yeo..

Trade radio made a good point about a few of the Bombers players leaving in 2010 and Hird tried to convince them to come back but by then the damage had been done and the players were not going to come back. If a head coach can not convince players to come back i doubt a past great on the board of directors will be able too.
