I'll check back in on this thread in 1 or 2 years' time and see: how great the us economy looks (if the 8% reduction in GDP his "policies" are likely to cause), if the middle- and lower-classes are better off (despite not receiving the tax cuts the upper class gets), if the world is at peace (despite the move to isolationism), if the health of the nation is any better (despite having the most cooked of all the cookers in charge of removing vaccines), if the environment is no longer on the brink of point of no return (despite a climate change denier in charge)

We really can thank the wishy washy dems for leading such an insipid campaigns against someone that is not only in his right mind, but a judiciary declared rapist, man of no morals, insurrectionist, completely detached from reality, that anyone with half a brain can tell is unfit to run a sausage stand, let alone a nation

Good luck champs you have yourselves to blame

Okay, but you can't argue that Fox isn't mainstream.

And then you have the owner of one of the biggest global media platforms standing on stage with Trump at several rallies.

Think about what you're arguing for 1 second. If you're complaining about "mainstream media" being against you, you're incapable of critical thought.

“I’m incapable of critical thought” oh no

If I had a dollar for each time someone attacked me on here, I'd be a billionaire.

You can’t argue that Blackrock, Soros, and Co. are just about almost every single company on planet Earth, from Big Pharma, Banks, Media, etc….

These people have funded the Democrats in their weird way for years and even more so since Trump became a Republican.

Trump is a high threat to their goals with their BS ESG crap, amongst the other weird and wacky crap.

Proving what point?

That you’re obsessed by my personal opinions and beliefs?

That you're secretly having a meltdown because you don't like the guy who’s gonna be taking over as president of the free world on January 20.

Honestly, the amount of people on here that care about personal beliefs is insane.

Quite frankly, I don’t give two fifths of you what about your beliefs. Whether you support Trump, Kamala, or whoever, I really don’t care, but I still banter and express my views with lefties and Dem lovers in here.

If anything, I’ve laughed my ass the whole time because bozos have had a meltdown cos Uncle Donald is going back to the White House and most in here can’t stand me stirring the pot.

The “attacks” are just as hilarious as the morons on TikTok, the view, CNN, and MSNBC losing their minds.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all the meltdown for you all.

To people who support Trump, God bless, have a great day and bring on Jan 20.

Jesus Christ dude, go outside and touch some grass

Re Americans and the opinion of no doubt many citizens of other countries that a lot of them are dumb campaigners I have to agree, but although it's not a large sample size from which to form an opinion I will also add arrogant to the description of the 15 - 20 (all white) I have come across in business, with the exception of one IT bloke who was actually Canadian, but was also treated as in some way inferior to them.

Re Harris and her in my opinion unfortunate failure to win the US presidency, regardless of any other mistakes she and the dems may have made she always had two major hurdles to jump to win the popular vote of middle America!

One she is a woman, and two she is a black woman, hence regardless of his lies and other non stop BS that would see just about anyone else get a lengthy stint behind bars the orange clown will be the president of the self proclaimed greatest country in the world for the second time, and who knows what havoc he could wreak if he survives for 4 years!

Ah yes, and the republican party is famously funded by trusted and ethical donors

Kamala was living proof of how not to run a campaign she was basically in hiding the whole time while Trump made himself available on umpteen platforms, it was a bizarre way to go about it.

I mean you can say hurr hurr he went on Rogan durr etc. but she basically did bugger all uncontrolled media.
They ran a poor campaign, but the issue wasn't she hid. She debated Trump, wanted to a second time and he declined. She went on multiple women viewed podcasts / shows. The problem was Trump (or Trump at the direction of his team) had the smarts to go out to platforms to reach new voters, or at least minimise anti-votes. The Democrats already had anti-abortion / women's rights vote locked up. They needed to be reaching across to media (be it traditional or podcasts), consumed by those outside their usual voting block. Along with policies aimed at them. She did one good appearance on Fox to try and do this, but it was about it.

Trump won, because he chipped into the votes by Blacks (especially men), young men (who usually don't vote), Hispanics (first time more voting Republican) and Asians. Outside Hispanics, those blocs still voted more Democrat, but he dented enough to make it an easy win. Harris (/Democrats) did bugger all to crack into Trumps base. They were obviously never going to win that, but Trump has shown you just need to mitigate your weaknesses enough, whilst keeping your base. There'll be years of analysis as to how the Democrats screwed up. If they can't go beyond 'Trump's lies were believed and people were tired of Joe Biden' they can kiss goodbye 2028 already.

The Democrats ran a poor campaign, but you can't also avoid that there was an element of racism / sexism driving Trumps vote. Obama was both a first non-white guy and also was a guy. Being the first non-white contender, he captured those who wanted someone different, because they were different. Harris couldn't capture that, in regards to her race. Obama also, by virtue of being a dude, didn't hit the bigger hurdle of sexism. Unfortunately I can't see the US overcoming a double hurdle anytime soon, unless the candidate was a non-white woman representing the Republicans. They would never get through their Primaries though.

The utter inability to message on achievements effectively because Joe is now a demented meat puppet before he finishes digesting his breakfast, was also key to the slaughter.

Inflation is at 2.44% over there, down from 3.70% this time last year. The Fed’s target for sustainable economic growth sits at around 2%.

Everything is already well and truly heading in the right direction after the COVID and post-COVID issues that beset all global economies, yet the average Trump voter (and no doubt even some rusted Dem voters) assumes they’re a week away from Weimar 2.0.

It’s not exactly a hot take to say the two halves of the political spectrum reside in parallel universes with a functional inability to so much as agree on objective fact.

He'll basically finish the same votes as 2020. He didn't do shit. The same morons who always vote for him voted for him.

10-20 million people who voted for Biden didn't vote because kamala is black and a woman.

Then you have 100 million ****wits who can't be arsed spending 5 minutes every 4 years to vote.

****ed up country.

I mean they do have voting in the middle of a weekday in a place where you can be sacked if the manager feels like it.

Michael Keaton and his 'They don't want to hang out with you. They have nothing in common with you. They're not your bros.' was all well and good, but I have a feeling Michael Keaton isn't exactly going down the street and inviting working class Joe's to Beverly Hills for tea with him.

Carn, people don't give a shit about this stuff. They repeatedly turn up in their millions to vote for Donald Trump of all people.

People didn't vote for Kamala because going back to the morality well of "you can't let Donald Trump be president" doesn't work for a 3rd time. Kamala also didn't go through a primary process nor was she an incumbent, so she didn't get any of the boost from those factors, and she was also heavily involved in the government of a deeply unpopular incumbent.

Everyone voted for an uninspirational candidate last time and nothing really got better for them, and the Democrats flat out don't care about the lower class, who voted for Trump because he repeatedly directly addressed them and their concerns.

I'm sorry I just don't buy into any of the sexist/racist crap you'd have had a female president by now if you ever had a competent woman running. Hillary & Kamala jeezus.

What's wrong with them? Not big enough knockers?

Obviously they aren't Obama level orators, but have a look at the Republican candidates.. Jeb Bush, Cruz, Trump, going back bush jnr,

Why is one side to a higher standard than the other?

You telling me someone like Al Gore would have pissed it in?

I don't buy that Americans would have elected Bernie either. Way too radical for them.

They're just a mess. Everything outside of the eastern and western seaboard is like a different country.

And no more being railroaded in to lectures about inclusive gender identity when I was busy boning all sorts of minority groups in the same game series a decade ago

If you weren’t having unprotected gay sex in Fable 2 despite being as straight as an arrow irl<citation needed> were you even alive?

There is nothing more gay than not having it off with a dude in a video game, as long as it obviously won't interfere with main romantic conquests.

Panam left me to go long distance so I was like, guess I just root Kerry now to pass the time.

You mean you’d have a woman president by 2024 if you ever had a competent woman running?
So there’s never been a competent one available on either side or they just haven’t been put forward?
