Conservative outrage at MSNBC silence after Sharpton interview claims
Conservatives slammed MSNBC after host Rev. Al Sharpton accepted $500,000 from Kamala Harris' campaign weeks before a gushing interview. Sharpton's sit down with the vice president last month drew scrutiny for his softball questioning, with the conservative Washington Free Beacon releasing campaign finance records claiming his non-profit was paid handsomely before the gig. Billionaire hedge fund manager and Trump supporter Bill Ackman led the charge, telling Megyn Kelly on her show this week the payments were an attempt 'to manipulate the audience.'

Well Trump is excited he's an ideas man, like taking fluoride out of drinking water.

What an awesome idea to put a health crackpot in charge of health.

Not surprising that Trump want to bypass usually approval processes for his nominations... didn't take him long to adopt the Emperor Trump approach.

How do you think the Washington bureaucrats are going atm

I am going to nickname these posts as 'the sky is falling hot take' thanks to my good mate Mutineer who seems to rate everything Trump does, which for someone who wont be affected either way, what the **** does he care right?

So

The brainfart cabinet selection award goes to.....

Well its a tie.

Mark Gaetz for Attorney General tied on 36 points with Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defence.

Mark Gaetz

Was about to be indicted on pedophile charges and sex trafficking crimes and it was about to be exposed in Congress. But due to his resignation it has stayed quiet but its the worst kept secret. So eessentially Trump is placing the guy with everything to lose in charge of the DOJ and therefor can sack those around him who wish to pursue his charges. So you cant make this up. So you can only assume Mark will be tasked with getting everyone involved with Trumps crimes and the crimes of his other members of cabinet off the books. Look for plenty of turnover here.

Pete Hegseth
This one is going to end in tears I think. While he was a distinguished member of the National Guard he never reached positions of high command and in his private life he never ran anything like a large corporation. To put it into perspective, a long time fox news host will be tasked to dictate strategy and the use of the armed forces to career generals, admirals who have served a lifetime. I can see them totally ignoring him or worse go out on strike. Especially as he is running his mouth threatening the sack to well respected generals. If he is confirmed, i sense trouble with this one. This maybe a department Trump ends up having to stick with the status quo.

Honourable mention

Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy as directors of the new government efficiency department.

The USA runs a $7 Trillion budget and Musk thinks he can cut $2 Trillion from the budget. Firstly they wanted to sack some workers. There are 15,000 staff on the payroll and that doesnt equate to even a trillion dollars. So programs will be removed. Based on the rhetoric its not going to be far off the mark to suggest that states that voted for Trump or even blue voting districts in red states will have all federal funding cut. This one is only an educated guess but Trump in his first term almost refused federal aid to california for fires because it was a blue state.

What appointments do I see as good.
Well to be fair I should be somewhat balanced because i know Muts, CTID, SP and Eags are nothing but the most balanced of individuals. He has hired some very good individuals with the right expeirience.

Tulsi Gabbard as director of national intelligence.
She has the experience of congress. Is she the best pick for this position, well probably wouldnt have made it to anyones top 10 so this one borders on 50/50. But in relation to the absurd brain fart picks, this ones a much better selection.

Susie Wiles as Chief of Staff
This lady is very well rated by everyone in the republican party. She is tipped to be the one actually running everything not just the white house because Trump is likely to never actually be there. So this is why she has been pushed into this position.

Tom Homam as Border Czar
He fits the brief as to what Trump has always said he was going to do and based on what I have seen of him he seems to be a tough but fair by the book individual. So hard to be disappointed with this one.

I can still remember Slippery Pete posting "having concerns" over another trump presidency .. fvcken lol

You’re right, I was afraid he was going to appoint too many swamp rats again…

The main problem I have with Trump running again is he was far too left-wing in his first term.

He better clean that sh*t up if he gets a second term.

…but judging by the reaction of all you manic head cases to some of his appointments so far, it looks like he has well and truly addressed that problem LMAO

Come on Salty, come over and play in the big boy thread. Don’t be scared.
