You’re refuting an argument I’m not making, and never have made, because you can’t refute the actual argument.

To recap:

  1. Doctors discovered early on that some of their patients got better after prescribing this drug (and others) off-label. This is not some big controversy, some people respond to treatments without significant clinical evidence. This is why doctors are able to prescribe things off-label.
  2. A weapons-grade propaganda campaign by the media and the medical bureaucracy ensued to denigrate the drug (horse paste etc). This was obviously nefarious and completely unnecessary (unless you were Pfizer or AZ, then it was very necessary).
  3. The TGA banned the off label prescription of the drug. You have denied this. But it is a fact.

All of this occurred for one reason and one reason only: to protect Pfizer, Moderna and AZ. There was no money to be made from off-label treatments of Covid. There were billions to be made from the heart-attack jabs.

In order to deny this is what occurred, you not only have to deny reality, but you have to defend some of the world’s most despicable creatures. Useless, pathetic politicians and bureaucrats like Brad Hazzard and Brett Sutton, and pharmaceutical megacorporations like Pfizer who made tens of billions of dollars from those jabs and never have to pay a cent for injuring and killing people.

Do pharameutical giants sometimes come up with great products that help people get better? Sure.

Should those products be mandated on people, monopolized at the expense of all other possible treatments, and given carte blanche legal immunity against injuring and killing people?

Fu*k no. Never in a million years.

This is obviously a fact, and because of your very weird compulsion to defend the world’s worst people you can’t admit it.

Sad.
Nothing to see here.

"Mark Zuckerberg says the Biden admin called his employees and “screamed and cursed” at them to take down Covid/vaccine content. "

Not 3rd world, rather than poorly run with key decisions made.

Not having water to fight the fires.
Not managing bushland fire loads.

I'm sure plenty of questions will be asked & hopefully lessons learnt for a smarter rebuild.

Just terrible to have whole neighbourhoods wiped out.

Unfortunately there are now more extreme weather events... so we do need to do more to improve our climate... or we will only get more extreme events.
They don't have the infrastructure or Givernnent safety net to protect their citizens.

We all know how bad their health care is.

Numerous times the recovery from natural disasters is poor.

Gun crime is rife there.

Now we see they don't have the infrastructure to prevent some of its wealthiest citizens' homes being destroyed.

I know they don't fit the technical third world status, but as a Nation, they can't look after their citizens.

These failures are fundamental to their Government at all levels.

And yeah, getting worse. So need to implement more strategies to deal with these events.

Horse has bolted in terms of really fixing Climate Change.

Yep, but limiting is still doing what we are doing.

Renewables and EVs are the way we will decarbonise quickest.
I guess possibly slow it down....

But, for as long as us humans have a need to constantly upgrade our toys, we won't fix climate change.

EVs are great cars, but the constant need to upgrade new cars limits their impact on Climate Change.

The failures are not because they are 3rd world as they have plenty of wealth... rather their failures are poor decisions by leaders.

This will come out no doubt.

This is the issue... we need to take steps to slow it down or the consequences are it will get worse & as we have unfortunately seen, the cost of these increased extreme weather events are significant in terms of cost.

No he quoted an x account telling him what to quote.
Ok to be fair he isnt a complete dribbling fool like some of his mates.

If you watch the video, what was posted was verbatim. There was no word salad. If you watch it, it’s pretty embarrassing, the governor flat out lies.

Will be interesting to see how many of them "wake up" to the fact their Government/infrastructure can't protect them after seeing so many wealthy people lose their homes.

By Government I don't mean the political party in charge, but the actual machinery of Government itself.

World's biggest military/Air Force, and they lease much needed fire suppression aircraft from Canada.....

Yeah but we love our toys too much.

I get laughed at because we have 12 and 8 year old cars. "Yoy need to upgrade "

Lego and sneakers though.......

A lot of the problem is just like in Australia, greenies at Federal. State and local Government levelmaking it hard or stopping a hell of a lot of prescribed control burns in state parks that happened as a matter of importance only a bit over a decade ago, not allowing cattle to graze in the highlands and keep the undergrowth down that carries the fire.

You only need to talk to the local veteran CFA volunteers in my area in Victoria (Pyrennes Shire) who have had their budgets cut significantly in recent years under the Andrews Government who now have the United Firefighters Union calling the shots statewide.

We can still have new toys & with improved technology they can be more environmentally friendly toys.

Where is this evidence the Greens are against prescribed controlled burns?

All I can find is they support this under expert guidance... so i suspect you are spreading fake news Bicks.

Feel free to provide evidence showing otherwise.

Where did I say The Greens lefty?

I said the greenies...

Getting a bit eager and desperate now lefty, maybe read what I said not what you thought I said.

I'll accept your apology though.

Where's the proof Bicks that these Greenies are preventing governments to do prescribed burns?

Once again you have made a statement with absolutely nothing to back it up.

Show me the proof & I'll apologise for claiming you are making up fake news again.

Typically you disagree Bicks, but unwilling to provide evidence how greenies are calling the shots for government prescribed burning.

I have shown you environmental groups support prescribed burning & they are going to have more influence than greenies they represent.

You really need to stop taking SkyNews as gospel...

Ya ****ed up lefty, so eager to pounce you didn't even read it properly so eager were you to support your lefty mates at The Greens. deflect deflect deflect.

Yet no proof Bicks.

Zero.nix, Nada, sfa!

You keep making fake news claims with no evidence.

When called out you laugh or disagree, but fail to provide anything to back up your claims.

So predictable & it's so childish you can't have an adult conversation as all based on your SkyNews vibe.

Absolutely, can't agree more

We should be investing in better PT and the like to reduce car dependency and making out cities walk, cycle and ebike friendly.

There is so much we can do, but we can't even convince many people there is a problem!

Thanks. I see the images of whole streets burnt to the ground and not a wall standing in sight apart from the larger business buildings.
I think you are correct because of their concerns for serious earthquake. Brick and masonry seem to be an expensive option.
Our construction requirements here is SA are quite stringent for building in bushfire prone areas now and with good reason considering the cudlee creek and sampson flat fires and the area of destruction and the speed they moved at

I get where you are coming from but the biggest problem is budget cuts. In the case of LA it appears consistent budget cuts and neglect of the fire departments have played a major role. Most states tend to develop cultures of neglect towards something and they do it because no problems arose so they use that as an excuse to commit further budget cuts. Which seems absolutely criminal considering California has wild fires more often than Australia does.

Heads will role. Newsom at this point probably should just step down before he gets turfed out. His government looks to have severely cut the legs out of the LA Firefighting service. No doubt gambling with the odds of major fires happening on his watch.

Not to mention better rural public transport options to reduce the necessity to drive to the city. A train to victor should never have been shut down, not to mention the Barossa.
