We often forget about the utter ridiculousness of masks, because they’re a bit further down the list of things that seriously harmed people.

It’s not controversial to say that Trump’s core supporter base is uniquely devoted to him, bordering on dogmatic.

No other US politician (Democrat or Republican) could for example suggest annexing Canada and using military force to take Greenland and Panama without the media and most of their supporters thinking they’d lost the plot.

I'm aware this is the reality of the world we’re living in and the shifting of the Overton Window that more and more extreme political ideas and behaviour are normalised.

That this is true doesn't make it a good thing, or sane.

I don’t disagree with this at all.

However, two things can be true at once.

The cuts to the dept, the hydrants that were left without water, the mismanagement of burn-offs and the DEI mind-virus permeating LA emergency services are all verifiably true. Why wouldn’t you acknowledge that?
