America isn’t a democracy. It’s a constitutional republic. Democracies always inevitably slide into some form of dictatorship. Constitutional republics are a lot harder to exert some sort of tyranny over. Everyone has inherent rights built into the constitution that a democracy doesn’t provide.

A vote for independents in the US increases the chances of a Trump win. So, it's not a plausible option if you want your vote to be against Trump.

Personally I find Chase Oliver the least objectionable of the candidates, although a vote for the Libertarians (or any other minor party over there) is a waste without preferences, so I'd probably stay in bed on election day LOL
