I think the difference is the standard of proof isn't it? Clinton eventually admitted to an inappropriate relationship with Lewinsky to a grand jury after initially denying it and getting Lewinsky to sign an affadavit denying it for the Paula Jones trial.

Has Gaetz admitted to any inappropriate relationships?

The likes of the Kennedys and Clintons normalised sex pests.

When Clinton got impeached for ****ing around and lying about it his popularity went up.

So people stopped caring about such things because the Political elites made it so.

Well you can be as sarcastic and jocular about it as you like but I think it's clear to anyone with half a brain that Clinton admitting to his affair is a bit different to the allegations thrown at Gaetz purely because he was Trumps staunchest defender in Congress against the witch hunts launched against Trump. Allegations which Gaetz strongly denies BTW.

I said that China is a market of over a billion people, who have never (in their several thousand-year history) embarked on the kind of military aggression common with European, American and Japanese nations.

Why would we not trade with them?

Free trade with a nation reduces the probability of conflict (and in Chinas case, also helped flip the country from a Communist shithole to a more open economic society).

Are you saying we should not trade with China? If so, why?
