I am sad to hear the news that Barry has passed away. My mother volunteered to help at the Bingo sessions Barry used to run for the club in Melbourne many years ago and I had the privilege of meeting Barry and his lovely wife Barbara many times.
Mum and I last spoke to Barry at Dot Pain’s funeral in May and it was great to catch up with him and see him looking well.

R.I.P. Barry. Sincere condolences to Barbara, Barry’s family and friends. A true Shinboner. 💙🤍💙🤍

I worked with Barb years ago at Visual Entertainment, she is a lovely lady. She goes to all the games and is always happy to say hello and have a chat.

Condolences to all the family, while I did not know Barry his legacy at the club is a lasting tribute to what he accomplished and something all North supporters proudly use as evidence as to why our club is the greatest.

I kept going back to the player portrait on the website. I know that I had this pic at one stage, many, many moons ago. I think that Barry's was a part of a set from maybe Mobil or a similar petrol company. Not Shell though. My dad did some work there and they did not have them. Some other OFs might be able to verify.
