Believe so. Sadly Darryl Sutton (1977, not 1975) no longer with us.

Just checked Hoj and Lurch turned 79 two weeks ago. Saw Peter Chisnall in recent years and he was in good form. Hope that has continued. Not aware of any others but some have chronic health issues (Crosswell) as expected from almost 50 years ago.

A sad day. I remember seeing him at a high school athletics carnival, when he taught at Niddrie High, and jokingly said to a mate, “ He’s coming to North next year.” Next day it was in the papers that he had signed on..
He was one of my P.E. lecturers at Coburg Teachers College. A terrific bloke.
On an outdoor ed. camp he calmly told us that building a pyramid of long necks and loudly singing along to a tape of rugby songs was not great preparation for the next day’s activities. The next day he took great joy in physically pounding us.
I love the fact that he was so committed to making his time at North a success for the club, not just a boost to his retirement fund.

Ha I wear similar today lol .

And yeah very sad and gee he was pumped holding up the cup back in 75. Have a couple now reunited for a beer and a smoke elsewhere
