Died overnight at FMC after apparently trying to breakup an altercation (as reported on 5AA) at a house party in Brighton.

Having seen exactly this sort of thing happen first hand in the past, it's a miracle more kids aren't killed each and every weekend. Just senseless.

Its so upsetting to hear of this. Countless times youll see someone go into break up a fight and come away unscathed and then you get something like this happen.

My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time, and also the South Adelaide Footy Club who have not only lost a good young player but from all reports a great young bloke.

Can't begin to imagine the pain his family are going through right now. Such a waste of a young life just starting out, and a wasted life also of the 18 year old charged.....his life will no doubt be all down hill from here on. WHY???? Just dont understand the mentality

It might be a weak excuse but the fact remains that most teenager fights at parties are the result of alcohol, combined with the fact that some people go looking for it, and the booze just makes them look harder.

As do I... but when I'm blind drunk I'm in an awesomer mood then when I'm just drunk. It's a pointless waste of life, forget the fact that he is a promising footballer.. he was also a bloke as well. Terrible to see this sort of thing happen.
