It is with sadness that I post member wayniac has unexpectedly passed away.

Some of you may have met him at the Player Sponsors/Sutton medal nights, he could be combative in posting here but was a dedicated supporter of the Dogs

Wayne and I went to the 16 Grand Final with his wife Linda, we’d been to quite a few prelim losses and at least he got to see one in his life. Wayne as a Doggies supporter through his life after landing ashore from Leeds in the UK. We'd occasionally trundle out to games at the Western Oval, Optus, Colonial/Etihad/Marvel/MCG. Wayne was a good bloke outside of the bigfooty world and leaves behind his wife Linda, two sons, and a few grand-bubs

Vale wayniac always a Doggies supporter

Very sorry to hear this. We had many disagreements on the US thread, in particular. But I have no doubt he was a good bloke and sorry to hear you have lost a friend Mike.

Mrs dw and I met Wayniac and his wife as we four emerged from Spotless Stadium triumphant after the 2016 PF. Had a good yarn with them on the train to Campbelltown as they prepared for the long drive back to Geelong.

Didn’t always agree with wayniac but enjoyed his posts. No doubting his passion (anyone who drives to Sydney from Geelong for a game is a committed supporter!) and his intelligence. Seemed like a very decent bloke.

RIP. Too young to be departing.
Condolences to his family if anyone is in touch or is attending the funeral.

Well this is a shock, I met Wayniac at a B&F, and he kindly drive me back to Geelong to my car. He was very much a doggie through and through, and I enjoyed reading his opinions, even though our politics could differ.

RIP Wayniac. Condolences to his family.
