Now Higgins is injured suposably 4-6 weeks.

Gilbee has a broken leg, dnno how long he is out for but i am 2 down.

Was going to use my trade this week to upgrade Beams to Kornes.

Now looks like i have to use the money i saved to trade Higgins and Gilbee (depending on how bad). 2 players i planned on keeping!!!

I share your pain. I had Cox captain with Swan vice too. I could have made Jimmy captain but I had a strong feeling he wouldn't do too well with Ablett making his return.

I think I've said this before (well, numerous times), but picking Newman over Lockyer at the start of the year really hasn't worked out.

Keeping Raines has also worked a treat.

They're Richmond backmen. They're meant to ****ing score well!

At least Raines is on my bench.

I need to vent about my injuries again, specifically my backline. Went into the season with 5 premiums, as I didnt want a repeat of last years debacle. Ive had these players so far:

Goddard - going great
Cornes - also killing it
Bock - has missed 4 games
Waite - killed it, now possible damaged ACL
McMahon - sucked for a game, dropped for two weeks, traded to Ellis
Ellis - injured 1 quarter after trading him in, traded to Hodge
Hodge - plays two poor games, has now missed 2 games
Raines - gets injured, traded to Cheney
Cheney - plays well, but constantly dropped
Shoenmakers - plays 3 games then dropped, traded to Fisher
Hurley - plays a great debut, then injures quad in training - out since
Fisher - scoring well, damaged shoulder week after I picked him up
Houlihan - scoring well, gets dropped - traded to Gilbee
Gilbee - has two good games, but has a possible hairline fracture of his leg

So in total I have had 14 players rotated through my backline, 7 of which have been injured and 4 dropped. So only Cornes, Goddard and Fisher havent missed. And thats just the backline. Ive had another 10 injuries and others dropped.

Its been a nightmare.

You have had some bad luck there but it appears your situation has been exacerbated by profligate trading.

No doubt, but most of it stemmed from McMahon. He was traded to Ellis, who was then traded to Hodge. Even with all that trading ive been copping 1-2 zeroes per week down back.
