Lost one Prelim by 6 points. Enright smashed out 127 against me, Pav didn't play and he had Adams at 105 as his emergency.

In the last six minutes of the Crows game I needed 7 points out of Danger+Shaw but didn't quite happen.

The week I finally take Stanton off my field he pulls out 109, his first ton since round 14.

At least his replacement Treloar got 90.

Rockliff capped off a crap year with a nice 40-something. Would have come very close to winning if he had got his average.

11 out of 13 of my unique players don't hit their expected while only 3 of my opponents don't... I lost by 49 in the end... All I needed was 2 more players to hit their expected ffs.

Well, Martin did go off injured, but Jonas was smashing him before he did.

I predict Jonas will be the cause of a lot of future venting when DT-relevant half forwards are playing Port.

I was 60 points up and had two players to go as did my opponent.

Then Carazzo was a late out - my cover was Lake and my opponents cover was Goodes (Carazzo was in his midfield)... Game Over.

The worst thing is my uniques still scored more points than his (even with Dusty's 39), had Carazzo played I would have won.

So in summary.. Screw you Carrazzo you soft bastard.

Thanks a lot for putting the C on Ablett. Although I knew you would do that! I had to go unique with Murphy because I figured you would go Ablett to nullify my best Captain option, even though to had a much stronger POD list.

Just as well you didn't go Swan for C or I would have been smashed by a lot more.

Might play it safe next year, the midpricers/undervalued premos strategy in every line except the forwards was a complete disaster. Ended up with an 18k overall finish, massive drop from last years 1800ish finish.

Just reading this page alone from last year reminds me of why I am a sucker for punishment.
