Please. If the Hawks went alone BH wouldn't survive. If the Saints did Sandy would definitely survive.
Box Hill were fully prepared to go it alone if the covid season went ahead. They'd struggle for a while on the field, but if Hawthorn dropped them, they'd be fine as a stand alone.

If BH thought they were capable of going it alone only a few years ago, don't understand why they don't do it now.

Take ownership of their club back, jumper, song etc. rather than having a master. Wonder where the AFL Hawks would play their VFL team?

Personally, don't see the point of being part of an aligned entity with only around 20 listed players, that's not a true football club in the proper sense, and that goes for all aligned clubs.

I agree with u 100%. Sandy and Casey should be standalone.

They are in an agreement with Hawthorn, so their hands are tied. The Hawks would have to break it and hand the licence to Box Hill, like Carlton did when they dropped Preston.

The Hawthorn VFL team would probably play at the new training facility/VFLW home ground in Dingley, but Glenferrie Oval or Waverley Park are also options. Given the Dingley ground is just about ready to open, I wouldn't be surprised if the AFL Hawks take the opportunity to try and move Box Hill out there or divorce them entirely.

Theres plenty of local talent running around the eastern fl that would want to play for them if they went stand alone. And their club have many people involved who are Box Hill people, not Hawthorn.

Meanwhile for that COVID season Sandy were going to be reliant on an "affiliation" with the then Northern Blues. While Casey who have a similair setup weren't going to partake had it all gone ahead.

I dont get the Kuol Man acquisition to Port Melbourne. A Geelong boy, Port Melbourne already had young Flockhart who was a finalist in the Fothergil-Round U23 rising star medal

doesn't make $en$e why he ended up signing

Felix is yet to resign and in seasons gone by we have felt the impact of our main ruckman out injured, always handy to have capable back ups. I guess it’s like having capable back up keeepers in soccer with the main difference being soccer keepers rarely get injured and ruck men do.

Felix would be another big loss bringing undone all the good work the club has done in recent recruitment therefore I hope we have positive resign news soon.
