Well, after a few upset results and close games last weekend, let's see how some of us Bigfooty folk go with Week 2 finals in the VFL.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 7th
Coburg Tigers v Murray Kangaroos
Coburg should bolt this game in. They just fell short last Sunday, and before that hadn't been beaten in quite a while. It will be a tough job for the Kangaroos to beat a side who have a strong chance of winning the flag.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 8th
Geelong Cats v Sandringham Zebras
The Cats finished top of the Home and Away ladder, but fell short by 7 points last weekend. With the AFL side out of the finals, and the VFL rule that forces eligible listed players to play ahead of top ups, players like James Kelly and Will Slade come back into the line up. Sandringham were lucky to squeeze 8th spot, did well last week to knock off the Box Hill Hawks but I can't see them being around by the end of this weekend.
 
I reckon the Cats will come out this week and play attacking footy. They weren't meant to lose last week, but that's in the past. Geelong being the minor premiers, and having about six players back from the AFL, I reckon we'll win quite well!!:)

I reckon Coburg will have a fairly easy win over the Roos... the Sandy vs Geelong game I dunno really. I'd love to see the Zebs win but I dunno if we got it in us. Lach Oakley's still suspended so thats not good for us... Templeton kicked the first two goals last week, but they were his only goals... need a full game from him this week... I really dunno who'll win.
Can't get there, so I'll be watching it at home.

After watching Geelong today, I thought they were back to clost to their best form. If they play the way they did today, then they will beat Werribee next week... and then hopefully go all the way and win the Flag!!:)

Who do you think their likely oppenent will be catattack,given they get up over Werribee, Coburg or Port? im hoping coburg will.
I think our last encounter against Geelong was a 1 point win for the cats.
