Vic Squads - new players?

I hope they name separate teams for each lot of 3 - it was silly last year how they named squads of 40, but in reality it was 2 teams playing 3 quarters each.

Team lists will be available at the ground, and possibly on the TAC Cup website a bit earlier.

Metro will be playing 2 seperate teams of 3 quarters each this week. Whether they advertise that in the sheet, that's another matter. I guess Country may do the same.

I missed Frasers 8 goals on the weekend but I'd like to see him do it against a decent opponent before I change some of my thoughts.

I think Fraser has to be in. Not just because he got the goals but because he gave Dowler a bath along the way. Also Fraser can go to CHB and played down back last year.

I'd actually have him ahead of Neagle and Weeks who seem more one-position specialists to me.

Have to agree with Metro having problems. Can't really say they have the selection wrong, there just aren't too many they can bring in this year. They might do the regular Country trick of fielding a mosquito fleet and hoping that weight of numbers at the ball gets them the wins.

neagle will be the full forward there is none better in the league, fraser needs to find consistence when this happens he will be a good player, change roles put dowler in the power team and fraser in oakleigh and i beat the result would have been twice as bad. dowler gets average deliver whereas fraser gets top deliverly on ballers

ellis and pendlebury on a wing? both about 6'2 aint thats a pretty good thing to have especiallyt if they get used up forward a bit.
