Josh Toy did make it. Alex Keath is so ridiculously over-rated. I've played on him before and because he's very tall he sits in the forwardline trying to take grabs. Couldn't get a kick for nuts.
 
Jake Dunne from Ballarat will be one to watch
very strong leading full forward who is known
to kick bags of goals on a consistent basis
 
Ben Jacobs - Made All-Australian last year and is a real contender again
Mitchell Wallis - One of the best young talents
Tom Libberatore - Son of, and an absolute magnet

mate ben jacobs is easily the best he shits all over wallis, who is not even that good, and libba is overrated massively its actaully a joke. i have played on all 3 players. ben jacobs easily the best

What really shits me about teams like this is the "son ofs". It is well known they get carried along because selectors want to have their fathers who are in the know to come along to watch. Terry Wallaces son is still in the u/16 Vic Metro squad after dissapointing trial games. I have read threads that he is a great player but at the trials he has been pretty ordinary - also lacks size and speed.

mate you say you have played on libba and wallis but u cant say that they are shit coz they would have shat on you since you arnteven in the VIC sqaud...wata idiot

How wrong you are mate. I am a city person and have been following vic metro & vic country for the past couple of years at u/15, u/16 & u/18 and these country boys are certainly teaching our city boys a lesson.

You obviously didn't go and watch any of the football (VM v VC) and the weekend.

Played against Wallis, Libba and Jacobs and Jacobs is so far better it's ridiculous. All you StKevs over-rating the 2 boys. Big pressure on them. Surnames get you far, just remember that.
 
I don't see how anyone, even a skevs kid, can argue that Jacobs isn't the best player for that age group. Made the Vic team as a bottom age 15 which is pretty special in itself, and then went on to make All-Australian. I can't remember the last time anybody made U/15 All Aust when they were bottom age. Not Kreuzer, not Gibbs, not Cotchin, not Murphy, not Deledio. Even guys like Judd, Hodge and Ball didn't do it. What Jacobs did was special and he recieves minimal credit and is hardly rated by a lot of people on this forum. I also think that Josh Toy is the next best player in the U/15 metro side and is better than Libba and Wallis.

Don't get too carried away with u/15 footy. Just remember not many boys bother trying out for this school boys team. IMO u/16 metro is when it all starts to matter, a little abit anyway. None of these teams are that important until u/18. All kids develop at different ages

Last years all australians for Vic M were:

14. RYAN HARRIS VIC M - not good enough for initial squad

15. ANTON WOODS VIC M - out for 1 year

16. TOM SCULLY VIC M - still great

17. RYAN BASTINAC VIC M - got cut early on

18. BENJAMIN JACOBS VIC M - obviously they kid your talking about.

Also some of the other Vic kids selected last year didn't even make their locals TAC u/16 squads let alone the u/16 trials.

It is a great achievement don't get me wrong - but honestly, it means nothing.
