Maddinson and Maxwell returning to club cricket this weekend. Hope all goes well.

If they were to be available for the next game it would be interesting to see who the second batsman (aside from Vines) dropped will be. JFM is undroppable now IMO.

Doubtful that Patto is selected and I hope they don't keep him around as 12th man, that serves no purpose. He's fit and playing well, he should be playing. Agree I'd like to see Sutherland again but his time will come.

Problem is the shield game starts same day as test so Patto will be stuck in Adelaide at least till game starts.

As long as the aussie selectors dont come knocking - should put a line through Maddison (not good enough) and leave Pukovski a year or 2 to get his head right.

Guarantee the aussie selectors come knocking for Pukovski within a few months.

A bit harsh on him, but based on his tests performances. Admittedly didn't realise just 27 years old.

I still think if anyone has mental issues based on the pressure etc (and there may be more to it) then shouldn't be reconsidered for Australian selection for a year minimum. (That's my no idea on depression analysis)

Very harsh. He wasn't making runs below and was expected to perform at 22/23 I think.

Dean likely 12th man, with a bowling lineup of Tremain, Siddle, Fekete and Sutherland. Unsure how I feel about that.

I assume Pattinson is injured. Not sure if Holland is injured aswell? Or a greentop being prepared to try and get us our first win of the season?
