Maxwell set for Shield return with Test hopes on the horizon
Victoria captain Will Sutherland confirmed Maxwell could play a couple of Shield games early in the summer with the Sri Lanka Test tour in late January in mind

Halfway through day 2 of the Second XI game against NSW. We're pretty well on top, made 264 in the first dig after being sent in. Tom Rogers made 90, Merlo 54. Rolled them for 125, Crone and McClure 3 each and we're 3/60 currently with Brasher on 22* and Rogers just getting to the crease. No video stream cos NSW cheaped out on Frogbox.
