Getting belted by another player not good enough to get a game for Victoria…
How long until we go to plan b at CV. Bring back Travis Dean :cryv1:

The tournament continues to build on Cricket Victoria’s global footprint, including the existing partnership with the San Francisco Unicorns. Up to six players from the Unicorns, who were runners-up in MLC02, will join the Victorian squad.

Cricket Victoria’s squad will comprise a blend of BBL-contracted players, emerging Victorian talent, and players from the San Francisco Unicorns. The team will be captained by San Francisco Unicorns captain Corey Anderson and will feature a lineup expected to include Netherlands captain Scott Edwards, Renegades batter Jon Wells, and England and Melbourne Stars player Joe Clarke.

The team will be coached by BBL|13 championship coach (Brisbane Heat) and current T20 Performance Manager for the Melbourne Renegades, Wade Seccombe.

Seems so pointless and a trip to Guyana wouldn't be overly cheap. Only potential positive is getting some young guys experience in those conditions...

Frustrating to have guys doing well interstate like Harvey, JFM, Couch, Buckingham while we back in the likes of Crone, Perry, McClure, Merlo.
Despite his bowling falling off a little bit, I still reckon Mitch Perry goes alright.

Harvey had a good innings on a road. JFM despite his ability has a technique that will never allow him consistency outside of white ball cricket. Couch is a loss, but I understand why he left when he was behind so many. Buckingham, yeah, fair call. Left during the years where we had Sutherland, Boland, Tremain and Pattinson rotating through though.

I honestly don't know why Perry is playing white ball cricket. Red Ball specialist. McClure I still have high hopes for, he's got a lot going for him with his pace and bounce. Don't see it with Crone either unfortunately. Merlo, probably a white ball specialist in the lower middle order.
