Want Dixon in, but it is hard to make that happen without Sutherland in and being the 5th bowler. Won't drop Merlo and Kellaway after last game. Maybe we go Harris Harper Handscomb Kellaway Rogers Dixon Merlo Elliott O'Neill Murphy Siddle McClure
Kellaway should get dropped. He's not a white ball player.

At least they seem to be having their own struggles so far this season despite fielding some quite strong teams on paper. Hopefully can break this losing streak.

Yay finally did it, good win with everything including the match referee going against a undermanned Victorian side. 8 Australian players for WA couldn’t get over the line despite the ridiculous target set.

Is what I'm hoping for. I was hoping that they'd go the two spinners route

Why would you hope for that? Siddle still our best quick, so I hope he plays.
Because he's been average all summer? And nah, O'Neill has been far better.

Todd Murphy has started the season well.

Didn’t realise he had injury battles last year
Yeah, start of the year. He's probably putting himself as the natural successor to Lyon and Zampa in the two forms really. Kuhnemann the guy maybe for ODI's

Will thankfully be a different scenario to the post Warnie/MacGill period, where we flailed around for 4 years trying everyone.
Which I blame the captain and selectors for, far more than the spinners we churned through.

Dylan Brasher must get a game soon after 7 centuries in district cricket as an opener oh wait he plays for Footscray wrong side of town.
Chandrisinghe has had enough chances - Brasher must get a good opportunity now

Brasher has one score over 50 this season, admittedly it was 158. Take that extreme outlier away and he's averaging 18 this season

Chadrasinghe isn’t going to make it at FC level, Brasher might not either but he needs to get an opportunity to prove it one way or the other

I don't disagree re Brasher but I'd rather see him get the opportunity when he's in a reasonable amount of form. Otherwise we're setting him up for failure.

The Vics will have a mix of Big Bash League and San Francisco Unicorns players, including internationals Corey Anderson and Scott Edwards, Melbourne Renegade Jon Wells, England and former Melbourne Stars and Renegades player Joe Clarke, and Premier cricketers Farzan Chowna, Max Birthisel, Callum Stow, Blake Macdonald and Jackson Smith.

does anyone know much about these guys we're picking for this T20 tournament?

Why are we bothering putting a team like this up on the world stage?
