[Enviable Tradition]

It is going to be a vote between the incumbent Snowden and the returning George.

In hindsight George should never have been turfed out for Wanganeen and it seems that the very reason they wanted to run Wanganeen against him is the very reason we should have wanted him to stay. He wanted to focus on football and footballing success in a board that was focused in neither.

He has a track record if getting things done that are for the benefit of the Port Adelaide Football Club and the members, like the One Club initiative. Similar change is needed now in the quest to return the club to member control.

Snowden on the other hand talks a good game and is adept at politics but at the end of the day his actions speak louder than his words. Especially when it comes to Ken's contract.

His candidate statement reads a lot better than the other two, was well written and emphasised re-positioning the clubs focus back to football and premierships.

Think he and Tredders will work well together and finally create some genuine division and progress.

I remember George being the driving force behind the One Club merger. It was an important step in the clubs history. I even sent an email to him with a couple queries and he responded with an individual response, which i appreciated.

He definitely has my vote.
