Great game although injuries to Bate and Rivers are worrying.

5 - Mclean - Pure star effort really led the resurgence with plenty of clearances.
4 - Neitz - Great job with very solid hands and good kicking
3 - Green - Was hard early and did some good things through the midfield
2 - Holland - Top effort on Thompson
1 - Jones - Similar to Mclean's game with lots of clearances and plenty of the ball through the middle.

Pretty much a team effort, but Davey, Rivers, McDonald were very stiff not to get vote. Also very pleased with Miller's game, however he may have to go back if Rivers can't make it next week...could it open the door for 426...or maybe the Bizz. The latter would be much more likely.

5 - Neitz - superstar performance
4 - McLean - Brock's back baby!!!
3 - McDonald - Another mandatory top 3 performance
2 - Davey - with Neitz was the gamebreaker in the third
1 - Jones - has well and truly cemented his spot. :thumbsu:

Rivers, Bate, Neitz....:( Get well soon, please!

5 - Neitz: Neeeeeeeetaaaaaaa
4 - McLean: Leather poisoning
3 - Davey: Matchwinning performance
2 - McDonald: Deserves the BnF
1 - Jones: What a gun!

5 Neitz- 8 Goals Neitz is back!

4 Mclean- Amazing and talent Thats Mclean!

3 McDonald- Set up alot of goals and might be a B&F!

2 Davey- Kicked a nice 2 goals and this time he RAN!

1 Jones- A great rookie who can actually dodge tackles!

5 - Neitz - Hopefully he can deliver in September
4 - McLean - 36 damaging touches
3 - Davey - good to have you back Flash
2 - Green - Was the only player to deliver in first half
1 - Jonesy - The kid goes OK

5. Brock McLean - obviously.
4. David Neitz - 8 goals for a old age FF is a great return - no respect given.
3. James McDonald - will have to get a AA berth
2. Aaron Davey - great to have him back, he is Melbournes liquid paper, masking the various stuff ups and creating gold.
1. Brad Miller - out on a limb here, but his marking (11) on the CHF line was instrumental in our old (and best) gameplan working in the 2nd half.

Apologies to Green, Holland, Jones and Bate - Jones should be clearing his living room so he can fit the new Magnavox TV later this week. Massive bitchslap for the 1st half though.

5 Davey Was the spark that lit the Fire
4 Neitz Was at his absolute best Great Hands Kicking Straight
3 Jones Fantastic find old head on young shoulders willing to take them on
2 Maclean Worked hard all day
1 Bate ran hard and gave something

Older Players let us down especially in the first half our disposal was pathetic
Green is overrated

5 - McLean (simply sensational game)
4 - Neitz (8 goals won us the match)
3 - McDonald (27 touches and stopped Wells)
2 - Davey (tore the game open with 4)
1 - Jones (terrific game, promising player)

EDIT - I forgot about Junior's great game!

5- Neitz (Note to Nathan Thompson - hetook himself off when the game was over)
4- McLean (best clearance player EVER)
3- Davey (lifted the team - leadership material)
2- McDonald (great job on wells)
1- Jones (see McLean)

Special mention to Miller - started slowly but could have found the form we need in September, no coincedence that he played well in the second half

I reckon Greg Williams and Sam Mitchell would have a bit to say about that. Young Nathan Foley had 18 today for Richmond.

McLean and Jones really started to get their hands on the ball in the second half when White started to ruck more.

5- Neitz
4- Mclean

1-Jones

PS. did anybody else see Sylvia on their way out of the ground today, saw him outside the members and at the Olympic stadium car park, suprised he wasnt in the rooms

5 - Neitz
4 - McDonald
3 - McLean
2 - Rivers
1 - Jones

Now I know Miller marks anything that comes near him but his handball at all costs policy ****s me to tears. It might work half the time but sometimes just kick the bloody thing.

We have all overlooked Wardy - played a great game
Ward played well, but gets plenty of cheap possies.

5 - Neitz
4 - Davey
3 - McLean
2 - McDonald
1 - Jones

Apologies - Whelan, Bate, Green and the Twin Towers down back.

5 - Neitz : 8 goals what else can you say
4 - Brock : 36 damaging disposals
3 - Flash : possible the spark that got us going in the 3rd
2 - Miller : ran hard and presented all day just what we have needed at chf all year.
1 - Holland : Held Thompson to 2 goals which one came from a soft free kick.

Special mention to the coach who gave them a well deserved spray at half time which got them on song.

5 - McLean - Brilliant as usual.
4 - Neitz - Kicked 8, but the delivery in the 2nd half was unbelievable. Stiff to miss 5, was the only one switched on in first half.
3 - Davey - Finally stopped the rot with that intercept, got the ball rolling
2 - Miller - Led up well and took 11 grabs, he'll be alright when he learns how to kick.
1 - Junior - Absolutely robbed of higher votes, mauled Wells and got 27 of his own.

Serious apologies to the cannonball, 25 in about 65% of the game is great, he will be a gun. Also Green, Holland, Chopper, Whelan, Ward were all pretty good too.
