3. Hille
2. Skipworth
1. Lonergan

Michael Quinn (The White Flash as someone said) looked exciting too, loved his toepoke to himself, I guess thats a Gaelic thing!

Hard to give with all the rotations and stuff..

Ryder and Lovett were BOG first half.
Watson was good all game.
Hille was bog second half.
Fletch was good all game.

Dempsey, Hocking, Skipworth, Atkinson did some nice things.

Dyson was woeful. Nash not far behind but at least he put his head over the ball once.

3) Hille - Class showing, Took the mark that needed to be taken at the end.

2) Watson - Going to be pivotal if we're to have success this year. With the loss of Welsh we lack in and under midfielders.

1) Skipworth - Really liked his game, did some good things, kicked some goals and liked what he offered to the side.

Ryder was immense. To me he was clearly our best player. Look's like he's taken another step up. Every time the ball went near him he made it count.

Hocking was another who really stood out. Would've made the votes at half time IMO.

3. Ryder
2. Watson
1. Lovett

3 - Fletcher - was solid as always.. legend
2 - Lovett - Made the most of it everytime we had the ball, glad we kept him
1 - Ryder - Just a class above

Other observations:

Dempsey, was rusty early but turned it on and got better as the game went on.. exciting

Houli, had some brilliant moments

Neagle/Gumby, got through the game, both impressive... struggled at times when it hit the ground and got out-positioned a bit but promising signs

Dyson looked to have more purpose about him

McVeigh led from the front

Skipworth showed something

Hille was outstanding

Liked the look of Tyson Slattery..

Nash, NLM and GOD all struggled IMO and will need better performances to cement a spot

5 - Watson
4 - Fletcher
3 - Hille
2 - Ryder
1 - Skipworth

Jobe was just outstanding. I can't even begin to understand how some people have left him out of their votes altogether.

Honourable mentions to Lovett and Dempsey as well, who I thought were very good.

Honestly if Hille goes down we're screwed...need him playing 22 games - will be AA this season.

Ryder looks ready to take the next step

Gumby and Neagle very promising, I love Gumby's skill on the floor.

Dempsey very nice things but definitely rusty

Houli was polished

Lovett was very good

There's more but I'm too tired..

3. Hille
Everything that's been said above + his leadership (for want of a better word) really pulled things together
2. Paddy
Again everything said above. Impressed at how he's filled out and no longer looks like you could snap him in half
1. Houli
Very classy mover and read the play well.

1: Lovett - set up so many goals...
2: Ryder - main target when coming out of the backline, great defence as well...
3: Mcveigh/Watson - Both were just so up to scratch, quick hands, finesse kicks.ect...

WOG:

Henry Slattery.... I'm not even going to name what he did wrong but he barely did anything good or productive.
