It is just a dumb as **** thing to suggest we pick a side in 2024 based on the form in 2023 or before.

It's not about making changes for the sake of making changes because of one game. Every team can have a putrid day (for example, Melbourne tonight), especially developing teams like ours that aren't aiming for this year's flag against good opposition.

But it shoiuld be about giving younger players a chance when the opportunity arises.

Would've brought in Alwyn's brother as a natural forward instead of him.

Actually, I'm surprised Caddy didn't get a shot with Perkins out. Could even give him a chop out through the middle. Missed opportunity in my opinion.

Based on this theory we should be playing Wanganeen as well given he is now available.

Had a full pre-season, took part in practice matches and wasn't injured for long. And a tooth? Big deal. Players have debuted with no VFL games under their belt this year. I see no reason to not give him the same shot especially after spots have opened. He's gonna have to play in the team sooner or later. This club has an obsession with wrapping players in cotton wool and in my opinion it's done more in turning them into softies rather than get them more ready for football from what we've witnessed so far.

Roberts is really the only one in the VFL that's probably unlucky not to get a run.

The rest need VFL time. I'm pretty happy they're giving Tsatas and Caddy full games in their preferred position in the VFL for now.

If Roberts plays another good game he should come into frame for selection.

Glad to see Davey getting a go but I hope he plays at a better level than the game against Sandy.

All he needs to do is tackle, tackle, tackle.

He could be like Mick Gayfer - no possessions, no kicks, no marks and 7 tackles - and that would make a huge difference for what we had in the first 4 weeks.

Well considering he’s not even named as 1 of the 3 emergencies, I’d say Scott doesn’t even have him in selection frame yet. I’d love to know what they’re asking from him before he’s given a shot. Would’ve got a debut at a lot of other clubs with his vfl form
