Wingard seems to get a lot of praise on here but I haven't really seen him play a standout game as yet.
Maybe some of you see something that I don't but I take a great interest of him as I used to play footy with his Father.

5. Hartlett - Astonishing game. 3 goals 1, 26 touches, 16 Contested, 9 Tackles, 8 I50s. All three of his goals came at a crucial point in the game.
4. Broadbent - Was everywhere
3. Thomas - Work rate and second efforts the entire game
2. Boak - I dont know what game those of you saying he played average were watching, but the game I watched had Boak set up our first half lead. Instrumental in the second quarter.
1. Brad - Again, work rate and a continual effort to throw his body at the opposition

5: BROADBENT, Matthew - If that isn't the moment of nuclear fusion of a new-born star then I shudder to think what else he may have in store. A real footballer's footballer, hard, tough, skillful and now ever-present.

4: HARTLETT, Hamish - Stay sound, believe in yourself, just play.

3: EBERT, Bradley - The prototype all-action big-bodied modern midfielder. If he's not gut-running from arc to arc accumulating touches, creating options and hitting the scoreboard, he's in the trenches, winning contested ball, harassing and bringing down opponents and leaving everything out on the field at the end of the contest. Future captain material.

2: THOMAS, Matt - Have bemoaned the absence of a full-time defensive forward for years since Aaron Davey and others turned frontal pressure into a fine art 6 or 7 years ago. In the confined spaces of the F50 Thomas' physical presence, general bullocking, haranguing and packforming/splitting is infinitely more valuable and influential than that of the midfield where a boundary-line/goal-line/forward press isn't close by to prevent quick opposition takeaways and exacerbate general panic in stoppage-weary defenders.

1: SCHULZ, Jay - Our most important player and even moreso now that he's leading up the ground, doubling-back, crashing in, chasing and doing everything above and beyond the reliable lead-and-catch finisher he's become renowned for. Mitch Farmer and a 5th Rounder was it?

1. Craig's Ebert

Carlile was great. Love when he backs himself to run off, hit contests and use his running disposal which is actually pretty bloody good.
