It is so hard to give votes after such a good team effort. Honourable mentions to Rawlings, Grant and Makepeace. Also very pleasing to see Rocca, Michael Stevens and Jeremy Clayton do well.

1 - Harris; Really was the filled gam Stevens left, filled the role extremely well, found a lot of the ball.

2. king - would have got 3 votes, but for poor kicking at goal.
1. harris - 19 of his 24 possessions were absolute class, adapted to the conditions well and played his best game for us so far.

apologies to jones and grant who were brilliant defensively, as was rawlings - who's disposal remains a major problem, and also makepeace, porter and sav. not many poor players; maybe just boomer and s.clayton.

Talking of Watt.. in the last qtr (or was it the third?) the ball went long into Adelaides forward line... headed for Mark Stevens IIRC- Watt came out and marked it on his chest.. he was in front of MStevens.. and altho MStevens isnt match fit by any degree.. Watt being in front and taking an important mark, as that was, was pleasing.

In honour of Jack Dyer...

Simpson played a great game for the four quarters and was there when it counted and was best on ground.

Harris. Like this young fellow. Has plenty of grunt about him and gets two votes.

Rawlings did an excellent job on McLeod. Kept him very quiet he did and gets the one point.

Tough to give just 3 players the votes this week but:

3 King was the driving force
2 Simpson won the center and stoppages around the ground
1 Harris if given more game time could have got the 3. Great work in close and I liked his delivery on a day when no one in a blue and white jumper could kick straight.

Would have no problem with giving Rawlings, Makepeace or Jones a vote as well.

We totaly dominated the game yet only won by 10 points. Our kicking is a major problem that must be addressed over the off season.

3. Rawlings - Mcleod is usually unstoppable & can win games by himself - wasn't given a chance by Brady.

2. Harris - 24 possies in 76 mins game time - equates to a 36 possie performance when given the opportunity

1. Simmo - class & leadership when needed.

Kingy, Makey, Grant, Porter, Sav, etc, etc, etc all played well & could've gotten votes.
