I know Fev kicked 7, but i don't think he was in our top 3 players. He was gifted a goal after the judd goal, got lucky with two late in the last quarter and also got a 50m penalty on another. Don't get me wrong, the guy is a gun, but he wasn't our best today.

Jarrod Waite is one of the premier backman in the league at the moment, the guy hasn't been beaten yet.

My thoughts exactly. Fev was great, but I'd have Judd Waite and maybe even Murph ahead of him.

I think Waite will get a call up for the Vic squad, the squad was bare for players to play on Riewoldt & Franklin.

Best On:
5 - Judd; would be well in to 90% now, definitely seeing him very very close to his best.
4 - Fev; 7 goals from 7 kicks, on about 7 players, can't ask for more than that!
3 - Scotland; was very good through the midfield today. Was integral in a numerous amount of goals, especially in the first half.
2 - Waite; doing brilliant stuff down back this year. Was definitely winning against Neitz until he went off, saved us quite a few goals in the 1st quarter with his positioning in the goal square!
1 - Carrazzo; was great off the back-pocket, was able to keep Davey relatively quiet and pick up 23 disposals himself.

Apologies to:
Murphy; worked hard all day
Hadley; his pressure through chasing and tackling is just enormous. Had yet another 6 tackles today and his skills are just sublime.
Kreuzer; didn't do so well in the ruck, despite being our best ruckman for the day, yet his mobility and the stuff he does around the ground is just simply amazing

Worst on:
1 -
O'Hailpin; really struggled all day, only the 6 disposals and the 1 goal. Thought he really struggled to mark the pill in the first half. Think he needs to be dropped for a couple of weeks to the reserves till his confidence returns. Bit unfair to say that the Irish experiment has failed though, seeing as he had little preparation pre-season due to Ross River Fever.
2 - Bentick; gotta feel for the bloke. Racks up 30-40 disposals consistently in the reserves and then can't bring it in to the big stuff. Wasn't actually too bad, did some real good things but i think he'll struggle to fit in to such a dominate midfield. Think Ryan Jackson should be getting a spot ahead of him!

He gathered 11 possesions with 44% time on group. If you rate disposals as a key indicator of whether he had a good game or not then Bentick did pretty well.

Um it was the Judd and Stevens show - yet the guy somehow doesnt even get a mention. Did more than Murph - is it "that goal" ?

Scotland and Simplson were sitting out on the wing on their lonesome playing kick to kick on the switch - not surpirsed they racked a fair bit up.

Grigg was fine -

Bower was absolutely fantastic - Waite was mopping up on the back line a fair bit but Bower was breaking a lot of lines. With age difference in mind Waite will be behind Bower very soon.

read my post again mate... didn't actually say he did badly just said that he is going to struggle to fit in to a dominant midfield like ours is shaping up to be! and that's what happened on sunday, he couldn't actually cement a permanent spot in the midfield which is what he needs to be able to do... probably should have put russell ahead of him but felt russell actually did pretty well against melbourne.
