I don't want to come across like a smartarse but how could anybody leave Brent Harvey out of their votes? He was in the best 3 on the ground by an absolute mile and I'd say easily BOG for us.

he was good, but you gotta say those guys had a ripper of a day, but all round the boys played well after a scrappy first quarter

Not where I was sitting. You could throw a blanket over about seven blokes for the best today. I think the votes will reflect this in the end.

3. Boomer - just brilliant all round.
2. Spud - controlled the defence, great under pressure.
1. Hansen - keep up the mid-week goal-kicking practice with boomer!

Unlucky - Pratt, Ziebel, Swallow, Garlett.

3 - Boomer - Great game. Keep working when we looked flat, seemed to have a heap of goal assists today.

2 - Hansen - Great to have a bloke that you think is a chance to mark no matter what the situation. Impressed wth the way he recovered with his kicking.

1 - Pratt - Worked hard, had time, great game. He is hitting some form.

100% agree. I don't know how anyone could think he was not in our top 3 today.

Considering you omitted Thomas completely from your votes last week, it's not hard to think you're just starting to take the piss ;)

3. Boomer Harvey. (He is a genius)
2. Lachlan Hansen. (A quality young key position forward has finally arrived.)
1. Mick Firrito. (I just can't ignore this bloke any longer. He HAS to be in the eyes of the AA selectors)

Stiff: Garlett (showed the doubters up today), Thomas, Campbell, Pratt, Wells, Swallow, Greenwood.

Special Mention: Ed Lowers physical work at the contest is very underrated.

Slap: Right, this isn't easy for me as I am loathe to criticise a young player, but this bloke has well and truly had enough chances. There is a bloke that came in to the side today that has had more goes in the senior side than the vast majority of young footballers I have seen at this club over the last decade and he fails time and time again to grasp his opportunity.

He put in one particular effort today that was shameful, and I will be very, very, very disappointed if I ever see that again.

Gavin, you need to take the next fortnight to seriously ask yourself if you have the desire and desperation required to pull on a North Melbourne jumper, because all I am seeing is a very talented young footballer pissing his career away.

3-Harvey
2-Pratt
1-Hansen
All round team effort today after a slow start, thought these guys performed over 4 quarters where others weren't quite as consistent. Loved the games and attack on the contest of JZ and Levi, Campbell found a bit of touch and Cruize was good!

3 - Harvey
2 - Hansen
1 - Pratt/Spud

Could have these votes any way around, but clearly the four best. Levi excellent too.
