There's hardly anyone else to fill in if Burton is out:

*Petrie is better suited to some key post while pinch-hitting in the ruck.
*McIntosh is far from ready to play for the seniors.
*Brown isn't someone we should rely on to be our first choice ruck.
*Hale isn't ready yet, but more readier than McIntosh IMO.

Was disappointed after seeing the late changes that Junior and Hale were not the inclusions. In hindsight perhaps Hale would be more suited being the second ruck to Spider than first ruck without a back up.
