I don't know if it's that bad, but after a woefully disappointing year it really is a kick in the teeth to have Daniel Curtin just sitting there around the pick that should be yours. Honestly feel bad for supporters.

None of those blokes are responsible for the development system of WA footy though.

Nor does it have anything with both clubs being unable to spend more than other clubs on things under the soft cap.

Perhaps the AFL, being the guardian of the game and all, should invest in development pathways for WA?

Too busy working out the exec bonuses, I reckon.
Do you think it's time for the WAFC to relinquish the Eagles and Dockers licences, similar to how the SANFL relinquished the Crows and Port licences?

I'd rather the club remained as independent from the AFL as possible.
Crows are set to become member controlled from 2028.
Eagles and Dockers could achieve member control in a much shorter time frame if the WAFC were to relinquish the licences.
