**** yes Steve Congilio, absolute legend.:D

On the topic of this squad, I cant believe Jacob Burnham wasnt picked, he was the under 16s AA captain IIRC (couldve been 15s, not sure)

Shame we won't be able to see the like of Matera and Swallow doing the rounds again due to Gold Coast
Coniglio >>>>> Swallow:p

Hope Erc and Hodgey get game time, they both have alot of upside, mainly height and pace really.

Need some more talk in this thread tbh...

How do you think the combination of Div 1 and Div 2 teams is going so far in the round robin?

This weekend is a shambles. Every Div 2 team has been smashed.:confused:

It serves its purpose - that is to allow everyone to see where the Div 2 teams and hence their players, really stack up against the best in Australia. Puts to rest many of the debates you hear about how good some kids in the Div 2 teams are.

You could put out a WA U18 B's team and it would still beat the Div 2 teams.

Makes you wonder - if you just missed out on the WA U18's, you would probably have been better playing for NT or someone like that where you could dominate and get your name in front of recruiters.

Good point but on the flip side many average players in the Div 1 teams can look like superstars against 2nd rate opponents from Div 2.

If Josh Green gets 35+ possessions it will help his standing I guess but if Wallis has 35+ does that tell us much?

Same Coniglio who played cricket for the national under 17s????

Wow, the lure of T20 big bucks may be starting to put cricket ahead of football in these decisions

It's a long way from October 2011.

Duffy, Kersten and Nelson ive all seen play. Not sure where they will sit 12 months from now but i wouldn't mind a shot at one of them, all kick goals on a consistent basis.

I think ill be going to watch Elliot Stevenson soon, had a good start to his Colts career, played for Trinity a longside Reece Conca last year.

This is a very early list of WA's potential 2011 draftees. 2011 AFL Draft

went out and saw them on saturday.....very impressive.

Kersten is a real talent up front. missed a few but the wind was pretty brutal. Brookes was very lively and really displayed some 'tricks' that will get him noticed. thought black was a bit slow but might be carrying something. lot of good ball runners and as usual v good skills.

Indeed. I dont know if I should say this or not, but he is still undecided on what sport he wants to play, and he'll play both for as long as possible.

There was a great article about him in the Pre Game section of the West today, best thing that paper has ever done.
