The semi finals are done and dusted with some reasonable games in there on the weekend. Military_man and myself proved to be the top tipsters this week getting all six games correct with the remaining punters either selecting four or five games correctly. Michael_29 got the bonus point again to bring his tally for the round to five as well.

Overall freofan_mundy still holds a very handy lead and is first on 79 with hansie and Military_man now tied for second on 73. In fourth place is myself on 72 with swannies rounding out the top five on 71 points.


Finals Week Three Fixtures (Preliminary Finals)

League: West Perth vs East Perth at HBF Arena (margin, 2:10pm)
Reserves: Subiaco vs Swan Districts at HBF Arena (11:20am, neutral venue)
Colts: Swan Districts vs Peel Thunder at HBF Arena (8:5a0am, neutral venue)


Well, we're deep into the finals now with Preliminary Final week here. All three of these games look to be very good. Last time each of these teams met in the Colts and Reserves in the first week of the finals both games were decided by less than a kick while West Perth vs East Perth is always a strong, fierce and generally close match. That game is also on TV this week with the stand-off coming to an end with Channel 7's coverage starting at 2pm.

Some cracking games coming up no doubt and we'll see a great week of footy I'm sure. Weather is looking great for Sunday as well at the moment so if you're not too busy get on up to the Arena for what will be an entertaining day. Happy tipping!!

The Preliminary Finals are over with only the League game having a sense of closeness about it despite the Colts game being the closest margin wise that game was done by half time. hansie was the star getting all three games correct as did masai. Military_man go the margin again and was just one point off this week to take his tally to three for the week as well.

With just one round of tipping left it's freofan_mundy in front on 80 points, hansie and Military_man sit tied for second on 76 points with swannies and myself in a tie for fourth on 73 points.


Finals Week Four Fixtures (Grand Finals)

League: Subiaco vs West Perth at Subiaco Oval (2:30pm, margin)
Reserves: South Fremantle vs Swan Districts at Subiaco Oval (11:20am)
Colts: Claremont vs Swan Districts at Subiaco Oval (8:40am)


It's Grand Final week with all games shifting to Subiaco Oval for what is always a bumper day of WAFL footy this Sunday. The League match sees Subiaco take on West Perth, the Reserves has South Fremantle against Swan Districts while in the Colts Claremont will do battle with Swan Districts also.

All three games promise to be great encounters so hopefully we'll see three good matches in all three grades for what will be the last day of WAFL footy until next year. The weather is looking fantastic as well so all the more reason to get down to Subi and catch some local footy. Happy tipping!!
